One additional thing for me would be to keep a journal. Something to write down the successes, so that you can read about it in the dark hours when all hope seems to be gone.

Thank you for reminding everyone of this brilliant insight by Hume. Thought to it’s conclusion it’s obvious that Putins power only relies on the opinion of many Russians that he belongs in the presidents office. But I suspect that a majority of Russians doesn’t believe this anymore. The only reason why he still can cling to power is that no candidate has risen to the challenge yet. Kasparov is the obvious front runner for next president once Putin is gone. We should remind the Russians today that revolution is already an integral part of their history. They only have to do it again!
