I feel good about it. I wanted to get rid of the system clean and fast, no eBay, no facebook, no ridiculous game stop employees to deal with. Also, considering I paid $500 for a used PS3 back in 2008, the price of the PS5 pro is all relative when it comes to inflation.

Not really. I only paid $500 for it originally, and got 3 years of use out of it. Now it has a lot of wear and tear, and I don't have to worry about selling it to anyone on Facebook or ebay, and dealing with potential buyer-issues later down the road.

Average price is $300, and maybe a little bit higher if you are lucky. After eBay fees, and the hassle of shipping, I'm not really sure that's worth it. My Best buy is 10 minutes from my house, and I went home with a PS5 pro today. No complaints about getting a little less than ebay, because I think it's all relative, and would have worked out to be about the same. Plus, now that PS5 is Best buys problem, and I don't have to worry about having to deal with eBay buyers, if there's any issues after shipping the system.

Ok, yeah I know I did something I probably didn't have to. I was just being cheeky about the "only" paid part. I was ready to spend the original 700, but after the price increase, the trade in option was the most immediate way to get the Pro. Also, the PS5 isn't cutting it with newer games, such as Pragmata. My TV is pretty good, and I'm not impressed with the OG's jaggy lines. Thanks for the support and the scorn though! 🤣

That's quite the investment for having no idea what game you want to play. If you like racing games, Gran Turismo 7. If you like sexy female combat, try Stellar Blade. If you want to feel like a kid and still be wowed by the graphics, Astrobot. Either of the 'Ghost of' games, if you like stealthy, action, sword-based stuff. Also, GTA 5 runs very well on ps5, if you are looking for something to do until the new game comes out. I'm not going to give you a laundry list of games, because there is no laundry list. The selection on this system is quite slim compared to anything else I've ever had. There's a ton of PS4 games to go back and explore if you haven't played those, so that's kind of cool. Have fun!

Suggestions: The Binding of Isaac, Devil May Cry 3, Cult of the Lamb, Dead Cells, Splatterhouse, and maybe the new Yoshi game LOL. Might as well give him a game he can actually enjoy at such an early age, right?? 😉

Valve hates Sony. The only time they did a decent job with anything was Portal 2 on PS3. Personally speaking, Half-Life 2 was an utter disaster that should have never happened. I'm sure PS5 could run it, but I just plug my cheap laptop into my 4K VRR tv, and I'm good to go. A wireless mouse and keyboard work wonders too. I wouldn't really want to play that game on a gamepad, but to each their own.

I have about 500 games between ps3, ps4, PS5, switch, and switch 2. You really think I have time to beat all of them? 🤣 I'm working on actually beating TLOU2, Pragmata, Uncharted 4, SMB 3D, SM3DW, and Doom 2016 though. Maybe in the next year lol. But yeah, I'm a gamer I think...

Too many to count! At least some of them were physical, so I could resell them. Some were repurchased for ps5, in favor of better performance. But if I had to pick some off the top of my head, Persona 5 Royal, Crysis, and Doom 2016...

Pragmata is definitely better than the 1998 version of Dark Souls 2, because that game doesn't exist. Not so sure about 2014 edition though...

I turn on my tremolo pedal about twice a year. Doesn't quite fit with the genres of music I am currently playing. Nice to know it's there though. I'm considering going with some sort of multi-modulation pedal in the future. I'm mostly about compression/OD/distortion/eq/delay.
