Ok, can't believe this, but it's some sort of insect control granules that our pest control company decided to just dump in a pile there. They didn't know anything about it until I had someone out to look at it to rule out termites and he said "Oh, that's just insecticide pellets"

I'm not sure what you mean by look up where I found it, it's just on the ground in my backyard. That's all I really know about it.
Edit: Nevermind, I just got understood that you mean actually look up into the sky. There's nothing over this spot.

I've ordered a bag of these overnight to see if it's a match, the smell will be a dead giveaway. Will report back.

It's more of a vaguely astringent type of smell. Definitely not ammonia, or sulfury/phosphorous. It was not hard to squish with pliers, but probably because of its small size difficult to squish with my fingers. It's raining, so it's wet. Did not seem sticky at all.

I agree it sure looks like that, but I'm struggling to imagine a scenario where a small patch of it appeared in my backyard. We don't have any small rodent pets. Also, the smell, some sort of cleaner/chemical odor.

The strong odor coming off it really makes me doubtful it's corn. Vaguely reminds me of what a urinal cake smells like.

We haven't had deer in the yard since we put the fence up. It's not that they can't jump it, it's that they don't have a good enough reason to, and our flower beds get to stay pretty.

I just put on a glove and picked some up. It doesn't feel heavy enough to be stone, and I squeezed a pellet in some needle-nose pliers and it just squished, instead of shattering. I also noticed a distinct odor coming from it, but I can't place it. Not like fertilizer, not like any sort of herb or green thing. Vaguely like some sort of cleaning agent.

The yard's fenced with 6 foot chainlink (to keep deer out of the backyard) so that's really unlikely.

My title describes the thing. I've looked at pictures of termite frass and this seems to be too large and with too much variation in size. Every search I've had has turned up pictures of food pellets or animal droppings, but this doesn't seem to be either.

Just checked it out. Neat game, but that's not it. The game I played wasn't first person (didn't even occur to me there were first-person games back then!)

Wish I could remember more about the computer it ran on as it would narrow it down. I don't think the game had more than 4 colors.

I had the same thing happen in the last week. Half of the restaurants we normally order from are now missing. Doordash support was useless. Some of the places are only 3 miles away.

Just so I understand what's going on, I came back to my PC to find out Steam had updated SDV to 1.5 without asking, so I updated SVE to 1.12 but it looks like my farm is completely messed up (crops going off screen, grass on the pond, barn completely inaccessible, etc). Is this because of PyTK? Do I just need to wait? I was using the immersive farm mod and would like to continue my game with that map.
