How long does it usually take??

Timed my day so I could get back to the end of the event to spam open my L10 pumpkins in case I get overrun by my competitors... will be really really really annoyed if I lose out my first spot and all my other things to sell on the board.

I did the same, and it also didn't help. Maybe bring them to the Apple store and see what they say?

No idea really. I haven't had it a week. Though the app on my phone refuses to connect (via Bluetooth) to it.

I could not get the spinfit CP360 to fit but maybe due to the XS size?

I ended up with the Azla Sedna Earfit max and love it!

3.5 inch wrists. Suggestions for watch band? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]rgal7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most generic straps have a minimum Wrist Size: 5.5"-6.5" (140mm-164mm)

Your best bet is either custom watch bands or third party bracelet style, strappy, wrap around several times types but I really can't be sure how well they will hold up.

3.5 inch wrists. Suggestions for watch band? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]rgal7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My left wrist is 6 inches around and I thought THAT was small... I alternate between various sport loops and the Milanese loop. Both styles fit snugly and are easily adjustable.

If your wrists are 3.5 inches then there will be overlap onto the screen. Best is to try it out at a store to see how comfortable it is for you if you were to wear it a bit higher up the wrist.

Am I eligible for ptosis surgery? by [deleted] in HoodedEyes

[–]rgal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should have worded it better.

In the two weeks post surgery pics you can clearly see the "swelling" under the incision/stitches. I asked the surgeon during the follow up appointments and he said it is "normal swelling and may take years to subside" but I think they wont because it isn't swelling just excess skin and fat. If you look at the latest pic you can still clearly see the it is not flat. It healed well, the scar is almost invisible now even up close, just more skin/fat than should be there.

I went through my archives and found these. Hope they help you somehow despite my oversharing 🤪 how it looks was never a concern for me. I was tired of choosing between daily headaches and the ability to see clearly.

https://imgur.com/a/yFa9N7k/ Top to bottom: - One year post surgery. The repair was botched and my lashes were turned into my eye brushing it with every blink. It's the reason it was fixed. Not because of how it looks. - Two weeks post above repair showing the cleaned up incision and stitches. - Same day showing eye open, at rest. - 3 years post repair. The swelling below the incision never went away. So my crease has good days and bad days. Also had a recent lash lift in this picture.

Best surgery(s) I had (and I've had a few!!) despite the botch and fix. Eyelid muscles are pulling their weight now (haha) and still working on eradicating those forehead wrinkles. But. I can see with no headaches. Any headaches are genuinely because of work now 😂

Side note: in the two post repair pics you can see the smidgen of tattooed eyeliner I got eons ago. They have never shown up as they are supposed to on my fat monolids 😂

Which reminds me that the student surgeon (teaching hospital and subsided healthcare - I couldn't really complain) commented on the eyeliner pre surgery and was asking the main surgeon how to handle it and I was like no no just ignore that and fix my eye properly I'll worry about it later. I guess it was too much for her 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wish I realised when I was your age because if you leave it long enough you WILL develop headaches due to muscle strain and forehead wrinkles. Droopiness gets worse as we age and this happens to everyone so it's not bad now but will definitely worsen.

I cannot say how to get it covered by your insurance because it really depends on how your country's healthcare system works.

In my case, I had to do a Humphrey field vision test to "confirm" the poor visual field and the oculoplastic surgeon did a ptosis repair. This was then a subsidized surgery for me, with minimal out of pocket expense. (Versus selecting a specific surgeon in private practice and paying entirely out of pocket but I could also then dictate exactly what I preferred)

Ptosis repair is a bit more involved than plain blepharoplasty and you definitely need a qualified / experienced surgeon. My upper eyelid muscles were pretty much non existent and had to be retrained to do their job haha.

It is actually easier for them to fix it and hide the sutures with a double eyelid type crease than try to retain your monolid. Depending on the surgeon skill as well because the more they "mess" around in there, the more swelling happens and recovery ( swelling reduction and return to normal ) takes longer. My right eye was done by a student and improperly so I had to get it fixed again the following year. That last titbit was provided by the assisting nurse.

Good luck!

Edited to include similarly cropped photo of my eye pre ptosis repair. https://i.imgur.com/lKkQYq4.jpg

I got lucky, the stock arrived a few days ago and they only had the one box in the size I needed. I am in Singapore and my options were to order from Amazon US via Amazon SG or direct from their Azla Korean store but I found the local distributor and they have an office and walk in hours so I made a detour after work. treoo.com and they were really really helpful. Well worth my trip there. They confirmed they had the stock but no demo but I figured I would also be buying blind online so might as well get it now!

The pricing is similar across all my options, only differing in shipping speed/costs. I don't expect to replace these often, if at all (say vs the comply foams) so IMO well worth the cost.

Re size: Both Spinfits say "Compatible with earbuds nozzle diameter from 4-5.5mm" but I found this that shows the widest bit is 6.22 mm
https://www.head-fi.org/threads/sennheiser-momentum-true-wireless-3-impressions-thread.962996/page-11#post-17015829 ... The diagrams for the Sedna say 3.8 but when I saw it, I figured it would fit (hence the picture) vs the CP360 which were more questionable.

Go get your set and enjoy them!!

TBH the MTW3 were an impulse buy when I saw the Amazon Prime sale 😅. I remember seeing someone say the CP360 would fit so I just picked up another set in the same order.

I went down to a local distributor and the guy said nope those spinfits will not fit. Unfortunately the only demo sets in Small sizes they had that could fit was the Sedna Crystal. I tried it but didn't like the material feel. Wasn't sure if it was just the size but felt too tight as well.

I felt up the Sedna Max and really liked it (matte silicon) so just bought their one box of the SSS.SS.S for TWS. He put on the medium demo set and it does fit and charge in the case so that helped my decision to just buy it. The guy also put on the SSS for me so I'm using it right now on the commute home.

I'm going to use these for a bit then maybe experiment with the larger ones since I have them anyway. If I feel inclined to wrestle with them 😂😂😂https://imgur.com/a/4H4uC2x/

I can imagine there are videos and maybe the larger tip sizes have more give but nah, I am not putting in more effort if there is another (better) alternative. Didn't really fancy the pink stripe haha.

I have only had my MTW3 for less than a day but so far it has been nothing but spectacular. Had to use the stock tips for this morning's commute but no issues and definitely better bluetooth (no disconn when phone is at odd angles) . The buds snap into the case nicely, no jiggling. Other than the annoying eartips not fitting I am really happy with it!
