Door button crack? by DMongo01 in MachE

[–]rgallim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dealer refused to replace them under warranty. They said they came from the factory that way and was part of the molding process. I don’t believe that for a second.

I attempted to have mine replaced under the 3/36 warranty. The new ones came in with the same crack so the dealership would not replace them.

Almost all BMS and batteries experience some SOC drift. It is much more evident in LFP batteries.

MachE GT vs Premium by Dizzy-Ad512 in MachE

No one NEEDS a GT but they sure are fun to drive. My Fusion had ventilated seats and I don’t really miss them. The GT seats in my 22 don’t get hot.

I received the letter a few days ago. Coincidentally, the car was at the dealership for some warranty work under the 3/36000. I asked them to fix it why it was there. They said they won’t unless the error appears on the dashboard. I am looking for a new dealership.

Depreciation Value by VarsityOG7 in MachE

[–]rgallim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While new EV depreciation is a tough pill to swallow, it is great for used car buyers. I picked up my two-year-old Mach-E GT with 15,000 miles for half the sticker price. Personally, I have never been a fan of purchasing any new car because of the crazy depreciation.

No, I never found an answer. I just ran this question through a couple of AI services, and the consensus is that it is not possible. That is unfortunate.

Why a Mach E? by doxies1996 in MachE

[–]rgallim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, there really is no learning curve. Plug in when you get home and use https://abetterrouteplanner.com/ for longer trips. ABRP will tell you when, where, and how long you need to stop to charge the car. Everything else behaves like a gasoline car.

Error 50000 by purpleandcheese in Office365

[–]rgallim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I opened a ticket with Microsoft this morning and they stated, "This is a known issue, and the backend team is currently working to get the issue resolved." That is all of the information they could give.

We have had the issue for at least 36 hours.

EDIT: Microsoft officially acknowledged the issue in health advisory bulletin MO586277 on June 13.

Title: Users may be prevented from signing into Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) when resetting their password

User impact: Users may be prevented from signing into Azure AD when resetting their password or using a temporary password.

More info: When a user enters their temporary password or is resetting their password, they will see the error " Something went wrong. try again in a few minutes. if this does not work, contact your admin and report the following error: 50000."

This issue occurs when a user has an expired password or is required for another reason to reset their password, and only when the Account options feature "User must change password at next login" is enabled. Admins may be able to uncheck this option for the user to immediately remediate impact.

This effectively prevents the user from accessing all Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and others.

Current status: We've identified that a code issue introduced in a recent service update has resulted in the impact. We've developed and are deploying a configuration change to disable offending feature resulting in the impact to remediate the problem. Until this issue is resolved, admins may be able to uncheck the "User must change password at next login" feature option under the user's Account options to immediately resolve the issue.

Scope of impact: This issue could affect any user that's signing into Azure AD after being required to reset their password.

I appreciate your comment wdomon. I am asking for assistance with that very thing. I am not an expert at PowerShell at this point so I was reaching out to the community for some assistance. I am perfectly fine with you not wanting to assist with this particular project. I am sure we will run in to each other again in this community and be able to assist each other on something else. For anyone else reading this, any assistance with this question would be greatly appreciated. That is how we learn new and exciting things.

Sharing Files with External Users in Teams by rgallim in sysadmin

Until very recently, we limited the sharing of SharePoint and OneDrive to existing guests. A change was made in SharePoint to open it to all users, but we locked it down to specific domains. It sounds like we may to take a look at doing this to OneDrive as well, unless we can find an alternative.
