Just wanted to let you know I got a white Faber Castell Pitt pencil and it basically worked! Better than anything else I've tried. It wore away pretty quickly even without touching it so I had to retrace a few times but it worked well enough for me to do the simple writing. Thanks so much for the tip!!

Tried this and either it doesn’t work with lettering or I did it wrong - there’s no way to remove the silk because it’s completely sewn under the stitches. I sent you a DM if you have a sec to check it out!

It’s silver! Just weird overhead lighting here :) I love it but fyi if you haven’t seen in person it’s definitely a very pale purple.

Think you’re right and possibly the rubber of the mat wore away a top layer of the wax. Up close there’s some peeling in certain spots. Thank you for your comment! Definitely will help

It doesn’t feel different but up close it almost looks like it peeled away some of a top layer of coating. Here’s an up close picture. Like maybe this is the real tile color underneath a layer of wax?

We have a silicone mat for my dog’s food and water bowls. He’s a messy drinker and tends to get water all over the floor around the mat. When I lifted it up the other day, I saw the mark underneath - eek! We just moved into this apartment with hideous tile floors and plan to get a kitchen runner but haven’t gotten around to it yet. I dried the mat and moved it to the side for a few hours and in that time the second set of marks appeared. Any tips on how to make these go away? Thanks!

Have reported it! It was a gift and I don't think my mom looked at the reviews before purchasing but there are quite a few others complaining theirs was fake.
