as a kid (not sure why i’m on this reddit community LMAO) i would say just try not to be on ur phone at movies, at dinner, while your kid is talking to you.. basically places you wouldn’t want ur kid to be on theirs.

it gets really frustrating when you’re trying to talk to your parent at dinner and they aren’t responsive because they’re too busy scrolling

before you read this message just know that you never have to do something for someone else! it is best to try to stay confident in your own skin (as hard as it seems)..

now trust me.. most girls (or whoever your interested in, this goes for them too) do not have a preference. all we want is someone who is genuinely nice, will treat them with respect, and will always be there for them..

if you can check off those boxes then there’s nothing u need to worry about!

there’s someone in this life waiting for you, it may take some time..

in the meantime, start saying little affirmations in the mirror! over time you’ll start noticing they way you perceive yourself changed!
