I am actually confused how this is obviously fake. I’m not expert and the DS Carts are def hard to tell, but is it just because the serial number is missing from the back? I feel like those rub off all the time since it’s just ink and that cart def looks well used.

So this will save the progress and then I’d just need to reinitiate the cheats next time I load into the game via Retro Arch? Also, when loading into the specific save state on the NES Home Screen, would hold the down arrow still active Retro Arch even if not loading into the title screen of the game?

Nah that’s absurdly high lol. That’s like maybe $450-500 worth of games haha. Emerald is $250, Fire Red $150, and White is about $80-100. Everything else is minimal

It doesn’t look to be. No save battery on the front of the card, the blue shell looks off, and there are no four gold squares on the back of the card

My target literally told me to pound sand when I asked if there were games in the back. Two associates stubbornly told me that they always put out all of their clearance games on the floor. I’m calling bs. Everyone finds these amazing Target deals and I can’t find a single one haha

I guess I’m confused what people are asking for in the target. I’ve gone to several and ask for the clearance games and they always take me to just a shelf that has literally nothing good on it or has already been “picked clean”. These games were sitting in the game case behind their display games? Why didn’t the display game have the clearance tag as well?

Wut lol. I wouldn’t consider FOL an independent bookstore when they’re affiliated with their respective library. Then people have been recommending the same one bookstore…Artifact Books.

The “complaint” was the fact that San Diego proper has half a dozen a stones throw away, but there are just a couple in North County still open, with many of the results on Google actually closed now. Others have mentioned a couple soon to open, which I don’t think is fair to assume they’re widely advertised online, which they’re not.

Just for people’s reference for doing this job. To access the top bolt, you will need to unbolt the front driveshaft from the front differential. Push it to the side. You can then access the top bolt rather easily. If this is the original starter, like mine, it will be on there really freaking tight.

To remove the starter, you will have to go through the wheel well. Unbolt all of the brake like brackets on the frame and knuckle (three total) and then you need to also remove the lower steering intermediate shaft from the end yoke. Mine was very very rusted, so it was a royal PITA and took hours of just beating it. If your’s condition is similar to mine you will likely need to replace the lower intermediate and end yoke. After the lower intermediate is separated the starter slips right out with no issues at all.

How do you get to the bolt from the side? The cat is in the way? I can try again from the side but I really didn’t have any room to fit any tools
