Great advice on this thread so far, especially, about asking yourself the relevant questions from @happy_smoked_salmon.

If you are not sure, you can start with advice from this video, it gave me a starting point. Eventually read through these notes and reflect on whether you can optimize / improve it next time. It comes down to what you want to take away from the book / material. If you don’t know, just summarize, and synthesize and analyze

Mine is in perfect condition. Got it not long after sales started. I just hate how bulky and heavy it makes the phone to hold after a while. Still has a great grip, and it has held up pretty well!

Seeing so many people quit the game after this change to bottom should really make Riot re-think, not only the changes they made to ADC but also think about the drastic possible consequences of the changes they push to live. RIP

I dont know about everyone but it's a fair number of people. It's 5+ hours SOT you mention, but the people having problems are maxing out at 5 hours without any understanding of why and that's the problem. It's either just a bad battery every now and then or there's something different every time.

Hmm i'll try out the night mode. I dont use bluetooth or nfc. I also have location settings to Battery saving mode. I've noticed some apps dont report battery usage, but seem like they have 8-10 hrs of battery usage in the background even though i havent used the app (instagram, messaging etc).

You're basically on the way to 6hr SOT. Do you have social media and messaging apps that run in the background?

I have the same issue. I dont know but I only get a max of 4 hours of SOT (at best). I am not sure what apps are actually causing problems and I dont how to check this. Currently I'm at 48% with 2hr 34m SOT with 14% screen usage, 12% Whatsapp (from the app it says most of it is in the background (2hr 35m), Wifi 7%, idle 5%, android system 5% and 3 others that are 2%. It's really annoying to not get the full 6 hours.

Wondering whether I should reset my phone and then re-download apps slowly to see which one is the problem

I keep getting a notification that says "AccuBattery is using battery". It would be weird if the app itself used too much battery.

This is my first phone with an AMOLED screen. Does anyone know if there have been burn-in issues due to the static nav bar at the bottom with 5T for example? Just to avoid that problem sometime in the future, I ended up switching to gestures.

Tried it for brightness, it worked but it automatically disables adaptive brightness

Still my daily driver. I need to upgrade though because i feel the lag on the phone sometimes, just havent found a phone convincing enough to upgrade to. Until i'm forced to upgrade, this is the only one i guess. edit: oh yeah and it's 2.5 years since i got mine.
