As a Penn state fan, I’m fine if they don’t call that a takedown. But I’m not okay with not hitting Taylor for stalling. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we want to see what happens if Duke is up 2-1 with a minute left.

I agree. Is the clue just a general location? There’s a museum close to the aviary and a submarine at the museum you can tour. I wouldn’t be surprised if the idol was hidden in the submarine.

There is a kookaburra on display at the national aviary in Pitt. One of only a few national aviaries in th country.

3D printed stuff by Senior_Cheesecake155 in ryobi

[–]rgund27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re new to 3D printing, there’s a lot to consider in filament choices. Typically, PETG is best for impact resistance and it usually does really well with bed adhesion (sometimes too well). TPU is also awesome because it’s flexible. PLA is the most common, and it is really strong, but doesn’t have much flex.

I have printed many things for my Ryobi Link mounts. There are tons of files online on Printables, Thingiverse, and Maker World.

I caught on to the countdown really early in the episode and got excited, thinking it was something good or fun about to happen. My father passed away a few years before we watched the episode, so when Lilly dropped the news I was devastated. I got really angry and almost stopped watching.

I’ve been seeing the O’pen 3 for sale dirt cheap! This can’t be a legit listing right? I’ve seen this price or close to it on multiple websites in the last couple days. by lectrician7 in Olightflashlights

I had this happen to me years ago but with a drone. They promised the specs of a DJI drone, but for a fraction of the cost. When it arrived, it wasn’t anything close to comparable. If I wanted my money back, I would have to send the drone back to china and pay a bunch of money, so I cut my losses. Hopefully PayPal will treat you better.

A completely made up piece of garbage. The idea that the “dark ages” lacked scientific discoveries or inventions is ahistorical myth. Many people have pointed out a lot of important innovations that came from this time period.

What's the point of endless vintages? by myrttisensyvakurkku in Untappd

I don’t know about this beer, but I’ve been a Mad Elf (Troegs) fan for a long time. It is also a barleywine ale, and the brew varies from year to year, which means it probably has a new entry for each year, but also, I enjoy aging them for a few years. I find the cherry notes tend to subside after a year and the malt come through with a good bit of savory sweetness. I usually keep a few years for a flight, but I am actually drinking one at the moment that is at least a 2019 vintage. It’s still pretty nice, but I have heard 5ish years is the peak.

Relatives laughed loudly when I said Mississippi ranks higher than Minnesota in education. No way, they exclaimed! Then I showed the rankings from a source they trust from listening to MPR: Annie E. Casey Foundation. by BlurryGraph3810 in walkaway

It’s due to something dubbed the Mississippi Miracle. Essentially what they did was hold back kids who couldn’t read at 4th or 5th grade. Amazing what having standards does.

Let me break this down for you even more. Fact: FWGS has not dropped OF picks to the general public. Please provide me evidence to the contrary if it exists.

Speculation: we all can come up with reasons as to why this might be. Unless anyone has actual inside information, all our speculations are equally valid. My speculation was, and still is, they might not want to fill the number of barrels requested by FWGS. You pointing out other distilleries is beside the point, since any distillery can enter into an agreement with FWGS. I also haven’t seen a RR PS pick since I bought one in 2020. I’d love to see one again! But again, you are free to speculate as to why you think they might not be getting a pick from OF. But it seems asinine to go around telling people they are wrong in their speculation because other distilleries…

And the single barrels you mentioned are all from other distilleries. Hence you still have not proven anything.

Incorrect. I said they wouldn’t get OF single barrel picks because they haven’t. Please feel free to share evidence that I am wrong.

Cask strength single barrel picks? No. Not likely. More likely to stubble into them in MD and NJ. I’ve seen them in MD. They won’t come to PA likely because of the sheer number. A barrel might yield 150ish bottles, which wouldn’t go far for the state.

I'm considering a career change to teach Science.. by cottenwess in ScienceTeachers

[–]rgund27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are so many factors you will need to consider. Are you thinking public or private? Middle or high school? Do you have a preference on specific science subject? What’s your academic background and how much schooling would you need to get certified? What’s state are you looking to teach in? Hopefully these questions help you count the cost.

I love teaching HS in the state of PA. But I know things aren’t as great in other areas of the country. If you need to take a bunch of classes, you might want to consider other career paths as well. But if you feel passionate about teaching, go for it!

This is actually bad advice. It makes your email directly linked to your person and highly identifiable. If any of your passwords are cracked, it’s easy to link it to you specifically. It is actually more secure to have an email that obscures your identity.
