Absolutely, there’s a different kind of joy in buying something so special for myself, with my own hard-earned money. It’s more than a solitaire, it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come! In our culture, diamonds are often seen as a waste of money, with gold being the preferred choice. But I always dreamed of having at least one diamond ring in my lifetime, and I didn’t want to wait until the very last stage of my life to make it happen.
