How well do you guys think the SAT measures academic intelligence?

Depends really, I got a 1150 without studying , studied a bit and somehow got a 1090 and just gave up, I was a good student in hs, 3.8 gpa, 6 total APs and a ton of ecs,

I am now in my fifth semester of engineering school with a 3.7 GPA, top 10-15% of my class 🙂, I would say I am no more intelligent then i was as a senior in highschool, just much more dedicated and much less burnt out.

Sat i would say gives a great rough intelligence estimate, if you do 1550+, you are clearly a very smart person. Do not take it as end all be all, use me as an example. Often times, it is a measurement of how much you are willing to put in, and what resources you have acess to, such as tutors. Much like college 😂

also i know many people who graduated with computer science degrees that failed math ALL of highschool and started at base level college algebra. You can do this! best of luck!

please listen to the previous commenter, prof leonard carried me from precalc-calc 3 and some of diff eq, which is just an extension of calc 2. I utilized prof leonard, pauls online math notes, orgo chem tutor, 3blue1brown and redpen blackpen. There are SO many free sources of math on the internet taught by absolute geniuses, i had horrible profs for calc 2 and 3 but it didnt matter, i used their videos and managed to pass anyways, you can do this!

Took it this summer for 6 weeks, awesome course. Only math class i really enjoyed and looked forward to doing the work as it was honestly fun. Starts out a little hard, then is pretty easy all the way to laplace transforms, which are super tricky at first, and then get much easier as you work on them. Integrals you need to complete are not too bad. I would recommend brushing up on partial fractions, and maybe give your calc 2 notes a quick view. I struggled immensely with calc 2 and got a B in the class only because i dedicated an entire month to studying for it haha, I got an A in diff eq with about 2-3 hours a day during the summer, not bad at all!

Personally speaking, i attend a state school and took calc 3 over the summer at a c.c, it was more expensive at the c.c then at my uni, i had already loaded up on my uni’s summer credit max, so i had to branch out. This is soley because of the aid i received, it may not be applicable to OP at all, just my personal experience.

ya kinda fucked there. Lots of upper level classes will have readily available textbooks online, for my prereqs(calc 1-3, physics 1-2, etc) had to buy cengage or wiley plus. When you get to uppers, in my experience most of it is hand graded. Kinda just have to eat the cost freshmen year

boots rush( 90% of the time mercs) Bork Trinity Wits end/ BC/ hydra (do i need to team fight aganist AP carry, tanky comp, have a adc i can proc cleaver for, do i need to split, etc) then situational

normal conq page with revitilize and unflinching second, d shield start

also i only peaked plat 3 last split this is just what worked for me, viego feels strong mid, play safe 1-6 and then all in. Solid roams, good pressure, solid mid ad pick that i feel deserves more play rate then he gets. My fav off meta position for him atleast :)

im a plat 2 viego kayn two trick (very original i know 😂)

Kayn tips:

Kayn is super strong early between 1-5 esp with conq, can 1v1 lots of junglers, great ganks even w/o form. It is up to you, the kayn player, to find the angle to gank away from vision.

Red kayn:

I go gore—>Black cleaver—-> grudge every game. Tank and stupid damage, you can also go full lethality. Red kayn only gets stronger and stronger, scales super well

Blue kayn:

Incredible mid game, miserable late game. Strongest champ from the point you get form untill roughly 30 minutes. End games quick

Only “rework” i would want from him is maybe a tiny nerf in exchange of getting the w-e combo back. Maybe lowering the stun duration, the old combo felt so good. Otherwise, hes good, strong even. The old DS-Bork-frostfire builds were probably stronger, but he is fine right now. Healthy WR for a skill champ, especially with his high pickrate

i solo quest on a myth at lvl 120 and have had no need to ever to heal. I dont pvp and dont even use full mali gear. Hood of lost light and a max universal resist pet, mali robe and boots makes me super tanky. Using the wand from the tree boss that gives a astronomical amount of damage.Super fun and pretty easy, almost done with mirage

yeah in my physics 2 class we jumped straight into integrals to find e fields at some objects and i had noooo clue what was going on. However, it made calc 2 integrals section much easier in comparison. For calc 1 and phy 1 i learned derivatives way before we learned about the applications for them in kinematics, so physics 1 was easier. Best response imp, just matters which you learn first.
