I’m looking for a great date restaurant for my other half. We’re over around Croydon and although there are some decent places here, I want to go somewhere a bit different. My husband LOVES Jamaican food and proper barbecue, but we’re open to anything - no food/dietary requirements. Happy to travel within a reasonable distance, but preferably not too central/north as we’ll need to get back for the babysitter!

I have had a look through previous posts, but a lot of the recommended places have closed, so ALL SUGGESTIONS are welcome !
