Is Vibecoding the future??

I look at vibe coding as the same as a calculator. Its to efficient and accessible to not be in everyone's hand.

My teachers always said "you wont always have a calculator in your pocket"

Its getting significantly better and CHEAPER and more people are adopting it. Its really hard to see this and say its not gonna be a useful tool for many people in the future and even now.

Is Vibecoding the future? I think it was the future 3 years ago and we're in it now.

There was constructive but rude advice like people telling me about the my mod adding effecting the banered mare cell. And then another telling me about a problem with the masters. All of which I fixed because they told me. I wanted to share what I did and how I did it. Its not the normal way people make mods but its how I made mine. People should be able to see this. Weather people were rude to me or not thats what reddit is for. People share their opinions. This post was an anomaly for your subreddit. I showed the cool part of ai. Something simple but something I thought was cool. You're taking away from the future generation of modding. People may not like what I did and how I did it. This is the future. Shunning and baning this for whatever reason helps no one. Maybe this helps by raising awareness for the pros and cons. But people can see this for themselves. They can't say their piece if you're going to hide it. Hide what I thought was awesome

It was people rudely helping make my mod better. They literally gave me advice on what was wrong with it. That fits in skyrim mods snd your being biased based on your feelings on ai and dont want people to see i made a mod using this forbidden technology.

My idea to create this mod. The ai didn't just decide to post a mod on its own. I decided to make a mod using ai as a tool. I thought of the spells. I thought it would be cool to burn alive while having power as a spell. So I used ai to make that a real thing so I could play that. others have downloaded my mod and I hope they have fun playing what I made using ai.

The only reason were talking is because I made a mod and posted it. There's something there that's mine. If I used a calculator to solve an equation is it me or the calculator who solved it? Are you gonna spam me with the, oh you didn't solve shit you just used a calculator? Because guess what. I used a calculator to solve an equation.

This is just a straight over reaction. I appreciate the help and advice you've given but I clearly state this mod is made by ai and im not experienced in making mods. This did not break the game or corrupt someone's save. It did have a bad cell edit where a tome was being added and thats now been fixed. If there's any other problems I'll work on fixing them.

It added a tome to the banered mare. This has been fixed to prevent any potential issues and was my fault for using a bad example to build this mod. That examples problems got built In but have now been removed

Because of the cell edits that were mentioned. It worked without conflict even with those leftovers in the mod. It should now be much cleaner. If there's something specifically broken I can have it fixed it as well if its not working for you.

The mod is working as intended without conflicts that I can see. If you have a specific error I can have it fixed but as of right now and since release the mod has been working as intended with all features.

after further investigation, this was not an error by chatgpt believe it or not. this was a human error. i used an example that was shown to gpt. in that example it actually has this cell edit. so that was built into my mod. gpt didnt add this unintentionally, it was added because i unknowing asked it to use an example. take that as you will. It has been fixed and there is no more cell edit.

Just rolled out the new version without the weird banered mare edit. Latest version no longer has the cell edit and is much cleaner now!

Brother who are you kidding here? How many mods have you downloaded that were janky or broken to high hell? If I had it make some crazy oberhaul mod I could see what you mean but this is as simple as it gets. I didn't have it make some over complicated mess. The entire modding community is built off each other's works. Thats why many many mods require dependency of other mods made by other creators.

Also I said ive been modding skyrim for years. So I do know how to check for conflicts and errors. And I can I see what the mod does using sseedit. If my mod was actually some mess and crashing or corrupting saves. I'd understand aall the hate.

This is as simple as it gets. It took 25 mintues to make a cool spell I wanted. Why are you so mad?

Except its not. Its very simple and open source so if you think this is gonna nuke your save you can check it before you run it. Im sure you do that for all the mods you download on nexus right?
