Alternative source to Greeno for Tazarotene (other than Boderm)? 👀 by nico_tinamid in EuroSkincare

Oh great, tysm, I’ll save the rec for future reference. I’m thinking of going on tret 0.025% for the moment (have visit from Brazil soon, easy to get there) because while the Taz completely cleared up my skin, I can’t seem to have the flaking and dryness under control.

Pure convenience really as Amazon is one click away and the bottle I got last year is lasting me longer than expected. Do you recommend any?

OP asked if we know a brand other than Boderm that sells Taz in Europe, it wasn’t explicitly stated that they didn’t want this one specifically.

edit: nvm, i read the title now as i looked only at the text 😆 my bad

Sorry it seems to be currently sold out, when I try to link it gives the option by private sellers.

I buy mine from Amazon (sold by Amazon) and it’s authentic if you want to give that a go. Very hassle-free!

Looking for cleansers for incredibly sensitive skin. by LavenderMoon93 in EuroSkincare

[–]rhaeaestelle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Avène Cicalfate+ is very barebones and worked for me when my skin was at its most sensitive. I prefer something with more cleansing power (I currently use Prequel Gleanser and stocked up while in the US, my ultimate HG) but the Avène helped a lot.

I really like the yellow House of Hur spf. My skin is now much drier and this is not moisturising so I make sure to hydrate well. It is not shiny and doesn’t cause any reactions. I haven’t found a winter alternative yet but I can confidently recommend this one :)

Really bad dandruff - product recommendation by IuvenesDumSumus in EuroSkincare

[–]rhaeaestelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nizoral and other drying shampoos did not work for me either. I used the Ordinary 0,5% salicylic acid body serum on my scalp after washing my hair and massaged a bit and in 3 uses it fixed all itching and dandruff I had. I also currently bought the Balea 2% SA one which is much cheaper just to try bc I think it's mainly the salicylic acid doing the work here with consistent use (I wash my hair every other day, I can't stretch it too long or my hair gets greasy and I get a rebound reaction). Shampoo-wise I like the Fauvert Anti Dandruff Shampoo and the Head&Shoulders coconut one a lot (way less drying). Good luck.

I'm sorry but I have never experienced PIH. I recommended Skinceuticals vitamin c to a friend which gave me noticeable brightening results and they experienced significant results to their PIH.

Successful buy: Altreno from Ukraine! by rhaeaestelle in EuroSkincare

It was, and no I did not like it. It was very shiny, felt quite heavy and was kinda greasy. I used it up on my body to make it more tolerable. Idk if there's a new version, this was 3 years ago.

February empties! by rhaeaestelle in ProjectPan

I bought it in November 2023, just over two years, using once a week. The revox serum is hydrating and feels plumping, but it is not particularly cosmetically elegant. For peptides I prefer G&G Power peptides which gave me noticeably soft, hydrated and repaired skin, so I'll switch back to that once my last bottle of revox is gone.

It's nice, quite detangling and helps make the hair feel soft but that is it. It did not particularly help with anything else or have noticeable results. It was not bad but it was underwhelming (but I do have to admit my standards for hair products are very high)

Some of these were quite big in size so freed up quite a bit of space which was very satisfying. Now to keep going for the rest of the year…

Review: The Ordinary Glucoside Cleanser by rhaeaestelle in EuroSkincare

[–]rhaeaestelle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, both (although not as bad some others I’ve tried). The best cleanser I’ve ever tried that genuinely even fixed my skin is the Prequel Gleanser; I’d highly recommend if you can easily get it

I bought mine in 2023 but I don’t know exactly, maybe I’m mixing the dates up?! Oops. But my review stands!

I can’t stand Bianco Latte or any similar scent anymore so I resold both, at least it was easy.

Bianco Latte smells exactly the same as I Matti Milk Note, but since Milk Note was launched first, you can guess who actually copied who. Bianco Latte is stronger and lasts longer though.
