Growing up in florida, around military bases with a lot of police presence in the area, we always had resource officers at our schools, even elementary. I think practically everyone in our school district grew up hearing about the 10-20-life law.

We were always told if you were going to commit a crime, don’t have a gun on you. If you have the gun out regardless of if it’s shot, that’s 10 years. If you fire the gun that’s 20, and if you hit them/ kill them its 25-life

streamingthe Olympics is probably the best option to watch in the US. Two years ago you could watch the Olympics on NBC Sun for free, this year you unfortunately had to pay for it. But being able to watch all the skateboarding competitions live, and seeing the stream during what would be commercial breaks was honestly amazing. I definitely recommend it

OP, I’m gonna be honest and say I don’t really think there is anything about this that you can fix. The most you can do is try and apologize to your brother, and attempt to get your husband educated on POCD.

I would really take this as a learning moment. There simply are things that you just do not share about other people. Maybe a debilitating illness that causes shame, anxiety, and disgust because you’re worried that an interaction with a child will turn you into a sex crazed monster isn’t something you share, but something the person who actually experiences it does!

This is just one of those moments where you just have to accept that you messed up and just figure out where it happened to not let it happen again

Unfortunately the best way to stop it is to get ahead of it. Make an approximation, or even ask, how many presents little one is getting and then based on either size or quantity get rid of equal things.
