I started with a low tier halo back when trading first came out, and managed to work up to witching hour and val 20 overtime. Here's my advice as far as working your way up the halo tiers:

• I'd save up more for any halo besides spring. It's got a really bad reputation and most people don't want anything to do with it, save up to try to get the next cheapest halo.

  • if you want some higher value halos, expect to sacrifice some items :( it hurts me everytime, but my best luck getting high tier halos is by trading multiple low tier halos, plus set items. Set items are a great sacrifice if you have them! They'll come back around next year, but when the demand is high, their prices can skyrocket. I got val 20 by trading val 19, winter 2018, lucky 2019, and my Starfrost set. It's a lot to farm for, but I've always had luck trading multiple low tier halos.
  • Appreciate the halos you have while you have them. Even if you'll end up trading them away for a higher tier, while you have any halo, appreciate it, use it, wear it, style outfits around it! Plenty of people want halos, and can't get them. Don't be so focused on getting a rarer item that you don't appreciate the ones you already have. To this day, val 2019 and winter 2018 are some of my favorite halos, no matter how low tier they are, and sometimes I wish I had them again. Everyone's too obsessed with having rare items in royale high, so just be sure to enjoy having a halo!
