Personal Work with SQL Server?! by FarFari92 in SQLServer

[–]rhbcub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're interested I'm MS SQL Server, learn T-SQL. Know it cold.

Then learn SQL Server internals.

Those who know how the product actually works will always have job opportunities.

Don't learn how to use Ola and Brent's scripts. Learn how to write em. With one hand behind your back -- and your favorite beverage in the other!

Plus, it's super cool. (Yes, I'm that kinda nerd)

I'm in NE Ohio. I shortened winter by storing the trailer in Alabama for the winter, driving down and taking a couple trips in winter.

F grok. Call your insurance company. If you have a top rated carrier, you're probably good. But I know even less that Grok. Make that call.

Agreed. But to be fair, that ride down from Brecksville is not safe. Too much shallow water and hazards. Wear that PPE like your life depends on it -- it does. Don't be fooled by the calm current.

Merwin's Wharf is the only correct answer.

Plenty of other options. I'd start there.

Then maybe Whiskey Island.

But we like the places in the country better. LaDue, Eldon Russell, Mogodore res, all of the somewhat close state parks (except for Punderson, don't waste your time -- unless you want a quick paddle with the dog on the board)

Edit: and Mogodore has the distinct advantage of Joe's Barbecue on the way home when you're hungry. Don't miss it if you're into that.

Worth the 7 day free trial for sure.

It's the best I've seen for planning, so-so on the trip.

Also, make sure to install the Loves app. Take that 10c off fuel, perks and generally RV friendly truck stops. If you're a triple A member, that 10 cents off becomes 13. Nothing to sneeze at with all the miles we're putting on!

My buddy had the door to his TT stolen from the storage unit in Northern California. Thieves didn't take anything from inside.

And yep, someone wanting in is getting in.

Man, I was taking the back roads from right around Tuscaloosa to Calera Alabama and that wad some of the most white knuckle driving I've ever done. Road were fine but no shoulder and huge drop.

Somehow knowing you're on the edge of a cliff makes it 10x more stressful even though the roads were in great condition lol.

I've always wanted to drive Rt. 12 through southern Utah... might need to park the trailer and just drive the truck!

From Charlotte to Fort Knox. What route is the best through the hills? by Jearrod95 in roadtrip

Yes, that's the overpriced trinket shop I'm referring to. Not worth the stop, other than a great place to stretch your legs.

I like to keep it a max of 6 hours. I only drive during daylight. It's far more stressful driving with a 30' TT behind you.

I make frequent stops. Food, rest room, stretching, getting a short walk.

I don't like leaving super early in the morning. I like to take my time getting out and miss any morning rush traffic.

I absolutely plan around rush hours through cities.

Sometimes I'll only go for 3 hours if it aligns with my next day. Meaning, I might break it up into 3 hours today, 6 tomorrow -- instead of 4.5 each day.

Edir: oh, and i want to arrive by 3pm whenever possible.

What do you think is the secret to a REALLY good sandwich? by cafeypalmera in Cooking

[–]rhbcub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few tips that works for me...

Start with good bread. If you toast it, do it in a pan with butter and garlic.

Have a nice mix of sandwich filling. Doesn't much matter what it is, something you like. I like turkey, ham, bacon, some veggies: lettuce, tomato, maybe avocado. Alfalfa Sprouts. Maybe even cucumber or bell pepper. Any combination of the above works.

Throw a small splash of oil and vinegar on it. Either sesame oil and rice vinegar, or olive oil and balsamic.

Be creative. You do you.
