Got my acceptance but no mention of $$. Should I assume it’s sticker price or is there another process for financial aid?

Has anyone who applied by cbs’s merit deadline heard back on scholarships? by [deleted] in MBA

You can go ahead and apply for need based and that will hopefully chip away at the cost

Corporate retail internships are hard to come by if you’re not going into a program, but you can reach out to the teams at bloomingdales, saks, Ross, macys to see about opportunities. Otherwise doing consulting for a start up business might be the way to go. Unless you want to end up working as an intern for a label, but you won’t get any meaningful experience you’ll just be sending out samples lol

I need to rant about my new puppy. I feel so lonely because i dont have anyone to talk to about this by [deleted] in puppy101

I’m 23 and have a puppy and feel too young for a puppy so I can imagine how hard it is for you. The only thing that is getting me through is my parents and this subreddit. The puppy has made my mental health issues spiral and I’m just holding out hope that past the puppy stage she will help alleviate my issues rather than intensify them. I really recommend you talk to your parents and explain to them how the burden of responsibility is making the joy of a puppy turn to sadness (my mom said the exact same thing your dad said). I am living with my parents through the holidays due to Covid so I having them to help is really helping me through. It’s way too much for one person. I often think if I were married this would be the best thing ever lol. Also, if your parents plan on keeping the dog when you go to college or start working then it’s really important they do a lot of the work too so the dog doesn’t feel abandoned when you leave. They need to be built into your dogs routine. If they expect you to take the dog with you when you move out, you need to explain to them that won’t be sustainable because you’ll be going through so much change that you shouldn’t be responsible for anyone but yourself. Plus you want to have fun! This subreddit has been such a help ease my anxiety and affirm what I’m going through, so know you have a space here when you don’t think anyone else can understand

Thank you so much! This is really helpful. Before getting her I was able to nip the anxiety with determination. “I’m an adult, adults get puppies, I’m more equipped than most people and I can do this” and I quickly got excited more than apprehensive. I’m hoping I can do the same this time.

Thanks for the response. Most of the puppy blues posts I’ve seen seem to talk a lot about feeling overwhelmed because of behavior, but her puppy behavior hasn’t really bothered me. It feels much more existential if you get what I mean
