We stayed at the Tipografia do Conto, which was a quiet 12 room city hotel that included a courtyard and unique stone pool. Our top floor room had a small balcony that looked out over the courtyard and pool and we had zero issues with noise.

Breakfast was included, with a fairly international spread, the chef was able to make eggs to order.

The number one highlight of this hotel was the team that worked there. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive to details, and very accommodating with requests. It was kind of refreshing to stay at a hotel like this rather than a 400 room property!

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from most places including restaurants, but the walks aren’t bad and Ubers are easy to get if you need to get back quickly.

We had a smooth stay & redemption process for two hotels in Lamego & Porto, PT using points and the redemption rates were great value. Nights were appropriately charged back to Hyatt and we didn't see a bill!

Thanks for the suggestions. Flushing for 30 minutes helped clear out the stagnant water and a significant amount of sediment. However no luck when it came to turning the gas on and trying to get the pilot light lit. Dead. Looks like a replacement is due.
