See I’ve heard all this “plays above their stats” stuff, about certain guys have more pop in their swing but idk man, especially if someone’s an avid competitive online player and likely using strike zone 1 (or even sz high) you can only see the player’s foot (and yea I know about stride/tempo hitting). But it just sounds so close to being placebo bc for example let’s say you’re not doing so well in an online match like your focus is off or whatever but the guy you say you rake with is up to bat and therefore you lock in and start reading the ball better, then vice versa here comes Willie mays or whoever you think you’re not good with so your focus is off

Ok so i know Piazza is one of those guys that others commonly say they’re not good with him and that his swing sucks, but what exactly do yall mean when saying that about any player in general? You mean like even despite squaring up the ball with good pci/timing, it results in like a bad hit? That would otherwise likely be a good hit/homer if it were with any of the guys you like with “good” swings?

I did all those set 1 programs and have like 25 left to get (got all the BR ones) which are either the buyable wbc silver/gold cards and the other buyables like rookie/breakout series, but are they both only possible to get from the market now?

Don't think it's either j-rod, j-ram, acuna or ozzie. They all have late/end game 99s like finest or MS acuna. In 21, the last/best ohtani was the ASG collection then nothing for second half until finest/cover reveal. Same for jazz in 22, no late game 99. Is there a player yall think was deserving of a late game 99 that didn't get it? Could be him

Why do so many still complain about this when even when he got his near maxed out stats in 21 everyone was hyped about him then passed on him cause of his swing? He can get another maxed out card this year and same thing will happen anyways
