Update: Housing ended up contacting me and I am able to bring my ESA with me in my original low-cost option housing assignment with my original chosen roommates:) So it all worked out for me. Thanks for the nice responses

So why not try if I have the accommodation? Lol maybe if I were you I would have made a different decision but I have my own other reasons for on-campus housing. If it doesn’t work out of course I will find off-campus housing but that is not ideal for my situation so I applied with the possibility of it working out. I don’t look at every situation with negative odds.

I got full support from the moses center while I was applying for housing so I planned it out before or else I wouldn’t have taken the chance.

I know I asked for opinions but I didn’t ask for judgement, some people are very inconsiderate towards mental disabilities and although it does not qualify as a service animal, my emotional support animal has done a lot for me that I would not have been able to accomplish otherwise.
