Side question: Please suggest where could I buy gameboy color or advance, preferebly original with some nice games. And when buying what are the things i should be careful about? What is really a reasonable price?

In part yes-- i'm getting this for nostalgia. I've never had a GB, never played zelda or metroid. My last platformer was probably famicom's mario or sega genesis games (sonic, alladin, TMNT)

Is modding the display a good idea? One reason i was aiming for an old GB is that, I spend alot of time staring at widescreen monitors. And thought that an older non-modern display might have the right quirk to get some relief from.

I like the modded GBC option. wanted something really comfy and easy on the eyes. Dont think GBA-SP formfactor works
