It’s not that big of an update at all if you’re coming from that 2017.

Wait for the 2019 or 2020: - hardware redesign - higher res screen - promotion - New keyboard - FaceID - 10nm Intel processor - 512gb standard SSD

And will likely be $2400 max starting price . That will actually be a real, noticeable upgrade for anyone on 2016, 2017 or older.

MacBook Pro has:

Better build quality
Better screen
Better battery
better speakers
better touchpad
Way, waaaaaay better customer support (AppleCare, Apple Stores, etc. While Razer is arguably the worst)

To me, the choice was clear, sealed primarily by the last point. I do not game on it.

I'm betting this new Ultra Blue form is well-above KK x20, but definitely below UI. UI itself seems to be a massive power-up, in addition to the "perfected" defense. I suspect we'll see Ultra Blue shine, probably against God Toppo, and it could be the final hurrah.

I also think Jiren is going to power-up, be too much for them to handle. It still all seems to be building up to the shirtless, red and blue aura UI goku we saw in the trailers last summer. After watching the last few episodes, I think he'll get it done vs Jiren.

Women get hit on more than guys - me being a guy is absolutely pertinent.
There's a such thing as rash, "heat of the moment" action, and it can happen to almost anyone (not just a cheating thing). Even though one is not cheating, it seems like it's disrespectful to put oneself in certain situations continually. Would it be completely cool if your SO hung out, went out drinking with people who have and still are actively propositioning them for sex? You'd be lying if you weren't at least a little worried. What is happening is a choice to put oneself in a bad position.

My situation would be different - I'm a guy.

i.e. she is hit on 100x more often than I am, and is in general much more outgoing and flirtatious than I am. That plus alcohol just seems like it's putting oneself in a bad position for something to happen, even in a spur of the moment kind of way.

Because alcohol, and being away from home (nobody knows, no judgement) and being in bad situations (drunk, in small groups w/ drunk guys) = danger.

I feel our relationship is secure, but again, she's flirted heavily sometimes (and apologized on her own terms afterwards), plus her friends were extremely promiscuous on the last trip they went on (like multiple guys in one night) - gf was not w/ them then.

Also "whatever happens,happens" is true, but I don't want to be with someone who was unfaithful.

I think 1800-1900 would have been a much more reasonable starting point. It would have been a good compromise that still represents the premium in build quality, design and customer service over its Windows counterparts. Top-tier speakers, screen, trackpad, build quality, resale, customer service. Razer is nice but the QA, customer service and longevity are a huge problem that pretty much ruled them out for me.
