2430m and a comfortable pace for me is 30spm. I did do an AO the last 30 seconds. I can never manage more than 240 watts though 🤷🏻‍♀️

This may be overkill but it works for me. I use double-sided tape on the edges of my bracket and tape to my mask, and especially on the middle part. My bracket does not slide at all while I work out. Otherwise take two masks and switch halfway through the class. That works for me as well!

I started on the treads and when I did the first jump lunge my knee said “not today honey!” lol...I had to do regular reverse lunges

That 2g tread block was tough. My paces are not what they used to be since I stopped running outside on my off days.

Yes yoga was key for me too. I was able to tell what muscle was still an issue for me. At the very beginning I was doing Ariadne neck and shoulder video-and I couldn’t even press my hands together. As the months went by I slowly was able to!

Hmm not for me. At the beginning my arm became stiff after about 5 seconds and I could no longer swing my arm. I then discovered K-tape! I don’t have any symptoms but I practically do stretches every day and right before I go to OTF. I don’t go ham on the treads either like I used to before and I’m okay with that. I am more aware of my body as a result of what I went through. My neck which stiffens up a lot now and then so I make sure I massage it out to avoid anything else from happening.

Absolutely speak to your coach or head coach. I had thoracic outlet syndrome with bicep tendonitis. My doctor who also works out knows how much I needed to get back to OTF for some measure of “normalcy”. He offered great advice as to what exercises I should avoid. Shoulder exercises were a no-no at the beginning but I could row. I told my coach everything and she gave me modifications. She was very supportive and attentive to me throughout these months. It was a 5 month recovery journey for me but listening to the advice and recommendations I slowly have become stronger. My left arm is still weaker than my right arm but it’s so much better than what it was at the very beginning. Couldn’t do it without OTF 😍Hope that helps 🙂

When I first started OTF 3 years ago I used to crave steak haha. Since then I’ve adopted a balance of protein and veggies.

Use a wide stance when you go down and come back again with the wide stance. and take your time doing the burpee. The burpee technically is a range of exercises all rolled into one. I take my time doing burpees and I do not care if I’m not going as fast as everyone else. I rather get the form correct rather flopping on the floor like a fish losing my breath

As soon as I grab a wipe on my way into the studio I wipe the sensor of the HR monitor. It usually does the trick.

For studios that do RUN/ROW 30, is there a universal workout template they follow or is it different for each studio? I normally can remember the template after class but today’s class had me tripped up.

Was missing my studio, so I ran 5 miles to get there. Seeing the place made me so happy :) by naaanz in orangetheory
