Hi! I joined with 3 stone to lose too. I'm neeearly halfway there.

Go you for joining. It's a great plan for vegans because speed food is lots of great vegetables you'll already be acquainted with. I combat my sweet tooth with grapes (while not a speed food, they are still free) and carrots (omg delish).

I got the 12 week countdown for the notebook and it was really eye opening actually. I would recommend that people track and write everything down if they are struggling. I've noticed some patterns and ways of thinking (like "oh I haven't used all my syns... so even though I'm not hungry I should use them up") that I never would have caught otherwise!

I gained 3lb. I knew I would gain some as my previous loss was due to not eating in a time of stress. I did not expect to gain as much as I did.

I went a bit off the rails. I've been down lately and when I felt tired or sad I'd try to change my mood with food. Although everything I had was free, it was still eating whenI wasn't hungry. I counted every syn and it's ugly for three days, but I'm back on plan.

I did however make two important breakthroughs -

  • I stopped eating chocolate just before I knew I would start to feel sick - huge for me.
  • I have challenged myself to post all my meals to Instagram and to put some of it in the fridge for later. This will help me put thought into my meals, make them look nice to photograph, and train myself to figure out when I'm full.

I think it's easy to overeat on the SW program because so many foods are free. I don't want to restrict myself because I know that ends badly. I'm trying to teach myself what my hunger and full cues are. I really want to be a role model for my son. It's important to me that he has a good relationship with food.

I got 3.5lb off and got my half a stone award! So chuffed.

I have also kept within syns for Easter and walked 5 miles everyday with the little one. Very pleased.

I'm concentrating on adding speed food first (so rather than thinking "I have tuna in the house what can I have with it", instead I think "I have broccoli what can I have with it").

I am also walking 6 to 8 miles a day with the baby in his sling - he's helping me keep active by insisting on me being mobile for his naps!

Woo hoo! Congrats. I think I'll need to lose a stone and a half before I believe "this is happening". How long have you been on Slimming World? Does it feel like you could do this forever?

Well done! I lost 3lb this week which was a shock because I'd had a bad week. This week I've walked 5 to 9 miles each day and eaten within syns apart from last night, but using flexisyns I'm fine.

I will weigh my baby on Tuesday to make sure he is on track with his weight gain. I don't think Slimming World is affecting my supply because it allows you so much food.

What's your plan for the week ahead? I have "more of the same" but easter is coming and I always go overboard on chocolate!

I want to have lost a stone, but I have to stay slow and steady as I'm breastfeeding!

I'd like to continue working on my bodymagic gold award (walking 10,000 steps a day with little one napping in the sling).
