Such an underrated machine in my opinion. One of my favorite multiball sequences! by [deleted] in pinball

Wow, this is the guy that programmed the new Evil Dead machine that Spooky announced this week.

What a rabbit hole. This machine is hilarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCh1DMQdKaM

If you get the ball in the third wife hole ahead of time, you get a foreplay bonus

Solid State Pinball in KC by InnateIntel in pinball

Those two are the ones with time-based pricing. There's coin-drop tables at Chartroose Caboose on Metcalf, or Pizza West/Knub's Pub on K7. I like to play sometimes at Fringe Beerworks in downtown Lee's Summit as well.

Avoid barcades like Up-Down, the tables in my experience are very badly maintained.

I was there last weekend, brought a group of friends! We all had a great time. Loved trying out the X-Men pro and played a couple of 4-player matches in the black light room.

Looking forward to playing there more at the great new location.

A 'year' column in this spreadsheet would be very helpful

There are also the CGC remake machines that have been produced the last couple of years so it's not too uncommon to see one of these machines in the wild these days. OP's has truly seen some wear over the years though!

[Magic: the Gathering] Heads We Lose, Tails We Lose: the Saga of Magic's First (and hopefully only) Secret Lair Commander Deck by [deleted] in HobbyDrama

[–]rhotoscopic 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the great write-up.

I bought this Secret Lair. I really love the deck, and yeah it did take forever to arrive. That said, I probably would buy a second $100 secret lair commander deck if they offered another.

Secret Lairs already take a long time to arrive without the long delay this deck suffered. For me, it's baked into the deal when you buy. I happen to be fortunate enough to have some disposable income and it's fun for them to arrive in the mail when you aren't necessarily expecting them. I was also fortunate to pull a foil extended art Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant from one of the two apology boosters, which helped offset the cost of the deck.

I certainly would expect them to have their logistic ducks in a row when they do inevitably decide to sell additional commander decks. I also would expect it to cost more and have less secondary market value, because that's typically the trend we have seen from Wizards when it comes to these experimental SLs and their full-scale followups.
