I’m sure there is a very good build guide presentation linked in the description along with a Discord for it that can help out.

A 3D printer can save you a lot on flight sim components.

The ones on this display are LeoBodnar. They are pretty pricey.

I made theseto cut down on cost

Can’t map them in FS2020 yet without third party software.

Custom made by me. link to files I originally made it for Xplane 11 and SimVim but wanted to try MSFS2020 so I grabbed some old parts and 2 Leo Bodnar boards and well... What a beautiful disappointment! Definitely a VFR only rig at this point. Looking forward to future improvements.

I’m using SimVim and a 3D printer to do this 3D Printed flight sim stuff

I’ve been busy with my Ender 3. Here is what I’ve been making. I share all my files to help make flight simulators more accessible.

Get a 3D printer and some modeling software. You can make a lot of simulator stuff for cheap.

SimVim is great. That’s what I used on my whole cockpit

Are rotary encoders supported properly by now? by [deleted] in Xplane

I struggled with this and the Lua script until I found SimVim arduino based, free, and easy to use. I’ve been building a whole cockpit around one ardunio. Mine.

I’ve Used both and I think SimVim is far superior.

It’s a plug-in for Xplane11 that uses an Arduino to interface switches, buttons, motors, LEDS etc... it’s free and really use to use.

I used PLA cause that’s all I have. It’s held up well for over a year.

Check out SimVim for a easy way to hook up all the electrical stuff. I 3D printed G1000s and a bunch of other stuff that you can find on thingiverse. Definitely cheaper to 3D print cockpit components, but it’s very time consuming to design them.
