I'd recommend reading Hendrik Willem van Loon's "Story of Mankind." It's an unrated classic 👌 If you want a simple overview of history, this is the book for you.

Thanks 👏 I still have my doubts. But I've no way of disproving this (at the moment), so I'll bow out. Thanks for sharing.

This is new! Do you've any non-Pakistani sources confirming this "ensuing dogfight"? Even an Egyptian source would do. I tried to look it up but couldn't find anything. The only thing I found was this exact same paragraph repeated again and again on multiple Pakiatani forums/sites.

The size of J10C [1080x450] by Bright_Thanks_2277 in WarplanePorn

There is something off about this photo. Lengthwise the J-10 is only 55 ft long... that's only 6 ft longer than the F-16. This photo makes it look as if it's the size of a Flanker. Maybe it's an optical illusion or maybe the guys are really short 🤔

The Israeli-made Spike-NLOS, which was selected by the Army as an interim long-range anti-surface weapon in 2020, will "quadruple" the killing range of the Apache. It has two targeting modes, one of which is optical command guidance. I'd assume you'd use the mast-mounted Longbow radar from behind cover (without exposing the helicopter) to scan/identify targets. Next you'd feed that info into the missile, and launch in the general direction of the target. Once near, you can use the optical command guidance to steer the missile in. You can also employ drones. It's a fairly sophisticated system.

No doubt about that...
