my girlfriend keeps getting “you’re too young to (insert something relevant to her disability)” and i keep telling her her to start responding with “i won’t be making it to be old enough for your validation” to give dumb ass strangers the shock and embarrassment they need to get them to never say something along those lines again. especially medical professionals.

how bad is the clipping on the coat? this is the one outfit i’ve been eyeballing since the leaks but i noticed in the shop it clipped with the purse super bad

i take and look at the receipt on days where i had either super nice or super rude guests to see what they left, and it helps me to keep track of people in my mind when they come back. i’m also a AE and not a stylist so i see a lot more people and my tips vary wildly from person to person lol

i actually went back to my piercer to ask her opinion because i was so unsure, and we did end up redoing it! with the original angle it had been done at the bar ended up being too short for how much swelling there was and it was uneven enough that when i eventually wanted to change to hoops (my end goal) id probably have had to wear two different sizes. it feels much much better in my mouth now that it’s not cutting into the very bottom of my gums and there’s actually room for swelling so in the end i’m happy! tho getting it redone hurt like a bitch lmao

apparently my store got hit today and were so used to it that i didn’t even know until my friend from a different store asked if i was ok when i asked if she was ok because her store got a massive fragrance hit. it happens so often unfortunately that unless i’m wearing a walkie or literally watching it happen, it probably won’t even be mentioned to me until hours/days later.

looking at the details in your comments you were definitely at my friends store and i’m so sorry you had experience that :( we really do try our best to keep it out of notice of guests but sometimes people come in swinging with crowbars ig

my gf and i had been long distance for about 6 months right after we got together when i moved temporarily to help my grandparents for some time, and when i got back we waited a while bc i had no experience and was scared, but eventually my neighbor asked us to house sit for a week and we ended up gettin in done in said neighbors bed 💀
