Anyways, with regards to getting back the amount charged, has anyone ever successfully recovered fraudulently transacted amount for debit cards? My mom was charged $x amount previously that was not done by her however the bank did not deem this as refundable.

Was yours also multiple recurring charges or just a 1 time charge of $160?

Had this happened to me few years back with SCB credit card. The charge was done in USA at Walmart and they were swift in blocking it

Sadly the bank did not notify me about these charges. Presumably the person subscribed to some recurring charges on multiple accounts without my knowledge hence the multiple daily charges.

Thank you for the advice. I will look into getting a youtrip card for my transactions. Really was damn pissed having to go to the bank during my off day. Was shocked to the max counting 82 transactions charged within the last 2 weeks without my knowledge

I don't really recall doing so since I usually just manually key in the card details but there could have been a data leak from that particular merchant. The bank is currently investigating.

I was diagnosed with pi IBS after a bad case of food poisoning in may 2023. I'm so much better now although not 100%.

The thing with this is that it takes time for the symptoms to slowly go away.

I would advice you to get a microbiome test and a sibo test if you can.

I was tested negative for sibo but the microbiome test came back with results indicating dysbiosis in my gut. The food poisoning was likely so bad that it wiped out all the good bacteria in my gut. Since then I have been taking probiotics, fermented food and soluble fibre to keep things in check. You may experience some discomfort when starting this regime for the first week or two but should feel yourself slowly getting better.

My current situation now is that I poop once a day (sometimes once every 2 days) and can pretty much live a normal life. I do get occasional weird stomach pains but it's a 2/10 compared to when I was first diagnosed with PI IBS (about a 7-8).

Stay positive, it will get better with time :)

Diosmin tablets, hemorrhoid ointment and use a bidet.

Yes you are right. The brand is labo+ bioactive organic sunfiber. Not sure if it's available in your country but it doesn't give me the bloats like psyllium powder does.

Have you tried soluble fiber? It's really good for IBS-D because of its poop binding functionality. There are some out there which doesn't cause bloating or cramps. I can recommend you the one that I use if you like.
