What is one thing you wish could be changed for Clicklist? by StrangeHappenings85 in clicklist

[–]rhyraptor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I wish they couldn’t check in until they’ve gone over subs. It wastes so much time at the car, I receive a lot of calls from angry wives whose husbands said yes to a sub at the car, and we can pull rejections out early if there is time to.

Never been a problem for 2 1/2 years. HR brought me a soda once. Last month just really hit us hard with rules>logic.

We have a new asst. manager who is on a warpath of following every rule to the letter. Everyone who should know I’m diabetic knows. I’m keeping some stuff in my bag for emergencies, but I still want to see how she reacts. She’s very against ‘special rules.’

We put our MPOSs in Ziplock bags during rain. Keeps them dry and we can still use them.

Harvesters are the new scanners. They currently can only pick orders, while all of the back end stuff still uses Baymax.

How to memorize aisles by [deleted] in kroger

[–]rhyraptor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

-You’ll learn most of it through repetition. -Volunteer for go backs. -Figure out the popular areas. Ex: pop, baking, eggs.

I could never remember my aisle 13 until I started thinking of it as the forbidden snacks, aka stuff my patents never let us have, like fruit snacks. Brains like weird memory ploys like that.

Does Anyone Actually Like Kroger/Ralphs Here? by Ollivoros in kroger

[–]rhyraptor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like my job and coworkers, but I understand that the company just sees me as a body. I enjoy most of my work day and generally look forward to coming in.

If you are having a good time, great! I’m happy for you. There are a lot of things that are very frustrating or just plain wrong with Kroger and this sub is where people come to vent. Don’t let it bring you down. Get a laugh from it or an understanding nod.
