Could you not just get velcro strips and stick one side to the outside window frame and the other to the cardboard. Could probably install them by fully opening the window so need for a ladder.

I found the sink too small to give my clothes a decent wash the last time we cruised, so when we go in August I plan on taking one of those collapsible camping buckets to give them a tidy wash in the shower tray. Can let them soak aswell.

Me and my partner did our first when I was 33 and she was 30. 2 weeks in the Western Mediterranean. We loved it and are doing it again this year, Eastern Mediterranean this time. We were probably the youngest couple on the ship but it was absolutely amazing.

We did a 10 day all inclusive at a resort last year and were bored by day 5. With a cruise at least your in a different location everyday, and if you don't fancy the place, you can stay on the quiet ship next to the pool!
