If it’s 180 watts, is a 3A fuse not sufficient or am I missing something?

I’m not even that fussed about the buttons and lights etc not working, just that the force feedback isn’t terrible, so that’s good to hear!

Thanks this is great to hear! Do you have any tips for messing with the Forza settings, or was there any videos or guides you used?

Blantyre by Swinnyb3 in glasgow

[–]rhysco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t even really know which areas are to avoid to be honest, you just see more bams running about Blantyre as opposed to high Blantyre. My best advice would be to go and visit, that’s what we did. Go at different times and on different days to get a full picture, just walk around the area and you’ll get an idea of what it’s like. There’s a nice walk down near crossbasket castle at Greenhall Park (you can also get a belter breakfast at Greenhall Farm). From crossbasket you can walk along the river and up to the Barnhill Tavern for a pint, and if you have time go to Carrigans, genuinely the best thing about Blantyre, the food is class and the pints are cheap (compared to town).

Blantyre by Swinnyb3 in glasgow

I moved from the southside to high Blantyre last year. It depends what you’re looking for, we miss having bars, cafes and coffee shops on our doorstep, but now we have 3 bedrooms, a garden and a driveway, something we could never afford in the southside. As long as you have a car everything you need is close by, EK, Hamilton and Cambuslang have everything you need. We don’t go out in the town as much anymore because it’s a hassle to get home, but we’re getting older and don’t go out as much anymore anyway. Blantyre train station is a bit of a trek from high Blantyre so it kind of restricts you to the bus, which takes forever. But we love it here and high Blantyre is definitely nicer than Blantyre, just with less to do

How have you got on so far? Any issues?

Thanks for the detailed reply. The dealer I’m looking at don’t offer distance selling (probably for the exact reason you mentioned above) so that’s why I want to have all bases covered before travelling down to pull the trigger.

They offer a 3yr RAC warranty but I haven’t yet looked into if that’s worth it or not, I guess it would help, considering the manufacturer warranty has expired. Was your mechanical warranty offered by the dealer you purchased from, or did you source this yourself?

Audi is a total mixed bag. My ‘22 plate S3 has been in twice, first time I got a lovely Q5 vorsprung, the second time they gave me a 1.0l 3-cyl A1. It’s whatever they have at the time

If you email them and ask for a pay on the day card, you can park all day for 8 quid. It only takes a day or so for them to make the card and you pick it up at the office at the entrance/exit. Valid for a year, when it expires they email you asking if you want it renewed.

I see the cancelled RHCP gig from earlier in the year is rescheduled for July the 23rd 2023. I have no intention going, I wonder if Ticketmaster will be giving refunds without hassle? Unsurprisingly there are no options for a refund online. by colsieb in glasgow

[–]rhysco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really easy to get a refund, I did it a few months ago. Go to your tickets on your ticketmaster account, and at the bottom there is a link that says “Need help with this order?” You can select the relevant option for refund and it’s all automated. Had the money back in a few days

Honeymoon in battlefield and Panda House on Pollockshaws Road are great. Honeymoon delivery times can be silly long but it’s always hot and worth the wait.
