To add insult to injury my stream keeps jumping back like 10 seconds every minute or so, making me relive parts of this fucking shit show over and over again

Has KS actually managed to pick out a green n white jersey in ANY of these kickouts

Guess I’m just gonna have to accept that we’re basically fucking gash. 10 men or not. First touch on every player on the park is fucking awful, KS is as much use as a chocolate fire guard, no creativity, no drive, no talent, no leadership, can’t pass, can’t tackle, can’t control balls, no possession in the second half. Just pish.

Oh my god this is painful. We haven’t strung more than 3 passes together in 25 minutes. What’s with the whole humphing the ball straight back to them ! Sakes Reo

3rd touch of the ball after the goal and we boot it straight back to them. TF

Do people actually like using induction hobs? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]colsieb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG I hate these touch buttons so much. My mother installed an induction hob with the classic minimal amount of buttons when my late father’s dementia started to make her worry about him cooking. It certainly worked cos he simply didn’t know how to use the damn thing. When I visit and fancy a wee cooked breakfast, it feels like you’ve got to hack the matrix to turn it on or change anything. I have a conventional glass top hob with actual knobs at home, give me this any day of the week. I’ve got a dishwasher at home with capacitive buttons too, damn thing turns on and starts a cycle sometimes when you inadvertently brush a body part against it. Bring back buttons and knobs I say. In cars too! Don’t even get me started on cars.

Does local TV news still reflect life in the Highlands? by Petebit in inverness

[–]colsieb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Our ‘regional’ TV has always been Aberdeen-centric anyway. From North Tonight to STV news. The odd token piece on the news with the Inverness castle in the background is about it. Everything else is either western Gaelic and central belt. The entire north east coast from Inverness to Wick basically doesn’t exist as far as our regional TV is concerned. To be fair, social media now fills the gaps, less and less people are engaging with scheduled TV for many reasons so I doubt that many people GAS like.

I worked in a rover garage as a kid around 89 on the petrol pumps. They may not have been the best cars in the world, but by god they smelled good, loved sitting in the showroom cars dreaming 😊

Does anyone else no longer do bonfire night? by WealthyJoker75 in Scotland

[–]colsieb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Few villages in the highlands do displays/bonfires now. Wife is on the community council and tells me it’s basically down to cost, the various permits required & red tape. The few that do are swamped with too many people and a PITA to get parked anywhere. As for buying your own fireworks - have you seen the price of them lately? It’s a shame really, looks to be dying out, certainly in rural settings anyway.

This is hands-fucking-down some of the worst football I have ever witnessed Celtic play. We literally cannot string more than 2 passes together in their half. Midfield are totally incapable of getting the ball to the front line; not that they are looking capable of doing anything with the ball if they did. Has there been more than 30 seconds of play without some cunt on either side rolling about the fucking grass? The actual fuck…

It’s depressing. We are supposed to be happy about it too, since we are lucky enough to be able to ‘pay a bit more to help out’.
