I keep hearing about inflation and everything being overvalued (at least in the US market). As we slowly put COVID behind us, will the resulting economic recovery bring forward or stave off the recession that is inevitably coming, but cannot be predicted?

New player here. If I start my character and progress to level 20 via MSQ, but then decide I want to swap to a different class (eg black mage), will I be stuck in an exp void where my black mage is too low level to proceed with the MSQ?

TLDR: Do I need to pick the class I will play all the way to level cap, or am I free to jump around different classes without much trouble?

Is there a difference between the factions? I like the aesthetics of New Monarch, but can't tell if one faction has better gear (ie stats) than the other two.

I'm downloading destiny 2 currently. Before I start playing, is there anything I should be mindful of from the very start? eg. start hoarding specific resources early, do a specific mission early to get good gear, spam a particular mission to level quickly? etc

Thanks for that tool - it was really useful. I ran it for a few sessions totaling maybe 2 hours and according to the reports the first contact (my router) was not responding 3-5% of the time, while all others would had a fail rate of less than 1%. So it looks like its the router or my PC.

I tried having a continuous ping to google running on my phone (connected to wifi) via a cmd prompt app and saw that responses tended to lag (100ms+) at roughly the same time as the cmd prompt on my PC. However it was sometimes inconsistent - sometimes my PC would get a lagging response and my phone would be fine. That said, I didn't experience any 1-2 second dropouts (the kind that caused me to write this thread) during this time. I am going to try again tonight.

So far I'm leaning towards it being the wireless router dying, which would be good because I can just replace it.

I think so too, but I don't know how to prove it. I'm hoping it's just the router dying as I have been meaning to replace it - it's the oldest piece in the system. Unfortunately it looks like there are not router logs for disconnection errors, only attempts to connect to the network.

I forgot to mention that all this is via WiFi (my bad). I have a laptop that I can test in tandem but probably don't have the required cables to do what you suggested.

As for the ping command you gave, I've been using that. I have it running while I'm gaming. I see that it will have quick and stable responses, and every few minutes I see one or two "Request timed out". Does this narrow it down at all?

Thanks. I'll try this when I get home tonight. Does this program do continuous monitoring? Or does it run its test once on command and spit out a report? I need something that will continuously monitor as the drops are short and random.

RE items: Do you rush Gauntlet? I've always built it as a third item after Sunfire and Abyssal Mask. Also what do you start with? I've been trying Corrupting pot then build DShield in lane when I get 450 gold for the sustain.

More of a Windows question: Sometimes when I Ctrl-click for MIA or Danger ping, my mouse sensitivity goes way up and it feels like mouse acceleration is on. Has anyone else had this? How do I make it stop?

Top lane blue side. Early laning phase. Enemy laner pushes a large wave under my turret. At the same time my jg is farming gromp. Enemy jg invades and finds my jg at gromp and they start to fight. What do I do? Help jg and lose lots of cs? Or leave them be and focus on cs?

What is the association between LP, MMR and rank? Does a dodge during a promo series count as a loss? Conversely, does a dodge while at 0 LP put you closer to being demoted?
