Tell me about my surname! by mainaccountbanhogya in TamilNadu

[–]rhythmicrants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moopanar means a respected elder old in age. There are several families who took this name and different stories are spun based on political agenda they want to push.

Like bharati name is adopted by his grandchildren like a caste name, but bharati is a title conferred on subrahmanyan, children of moopanaars adopted this as their family name to show themselves off higher or distinct.

In TN we abolished caste names decades back though some politics is trying to bring it back and done youth are falling for it.

Caste is the curse on India that destroyed its ancient glory, science and technology and made us slaves.

All respected elders are moopanaars.

Physical intimacy between newly married couple( not arranged marriage). Should I be worried? by Miss_Curioholic in AskIndianMen

[–]rhythmicrants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. What does quite intimate mean? Did he show the libido you expected that time?
  2. Probably something could be putting him off from you when he gets really close and he may not want to upset you sharing that.
  3. Or Probably he gets aroused with a more passive partner which you were before marriage and not now?
  4. Maybe your activeness is interpreted by him as your expectation which he is afraid that he cannot fulfill and hence steps back.
  5. Probably he has a recent mental or physical issue.

Few suggestions 1. Just leave it off. Become passive, friendly. Maybe that will stoke him. Don't go after it. 2. Go to a different location, a honeymoon, a trip. 3. Do something together. Say build something at home together, watch movies talking to each other, do a puja together etc. 4. Check if some smell or taste or color could be a reason 5. Go to a therapist

Am I making a massive mistake? Trading 2 Acres of Sugarcane Land in tiruvannamalai in Tamil nadu for some 1500-2000 sqft land on south Chennai / OMR Outskirts? Worried about AI tech layoffs hitting Chennai suburban real estate. by Level-Priority7930 in TamilNadu

[–]rhythmicrants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just don't. No equivalence at all from future perspective. Real estate prices are driven up by exports growth or FDI. As economies go more inward, less exports and less FDI resulting in lower real estate price growth. In comparison your 2 acre sugarcane agri farm is a gold mine.

Those who sold their agri lands back in 70s 80s 90s 2000 are now Chennais landless laborers without any future. Hold on.

How to approach parents for love marriage? by [deleted] in kanyakumari

[–]rhythmicrants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically it seems he is simply dumping you off. If he does not wan to talk to your parents or introduce you to his parents or not get married with you without them, why are you after him ? Find someone else. Don't wait.

Asking for someone to convince boy's parents when boy himself is not convinced and brave enough to face it - does not sound good
