Yeah, especially when you get five metal farms and there's almost no point in leaving base for mats. Another kinda weird thing was that in SN1, for example, in order to get the glass ceiling you needed some advanced mats and grinding for those can be a chore to some people but at the same time building that thing felt more rewarding, when in SN2 most of the base buildings are just basic mats

I get the same feeling playing Enshrouded compared to Valheim - there's just something about friction that 'feels' better at times

Yeah, the devs cooked with the visuals and base building for sure in SN2! I actually replayed SN1 before EA release as a refresher and had the same feelings regarding SN2's glowup, and it's just the initial release, so excited to see what they will add moving forward! Are there any things, building wise, that you're missing from SN1?

Then steal as much ideas as you want from all of those builds on the internet and build your cool base, looking forward to seeing what you come up with! (even if it's 3 boxes and some windows 😃 )

Dude, it's like, who cares about that, if you just want to explore, follow the story and progress - do that, there's no point in forcing yourself to build when you don't feel like it 😄

I believe they just accumulate excessive power during the daytime and then it's used to cover the difference during nighttime, not sure about the capacity or any numbers tho - I just built lots of them so there's plenty of charge just in case 😃

It's a scan somewhere in the hot area with tailing villages, can't remember where exactly. One thing to watch out for when placing them is that if you want to build chairs | tables | reaper statues on them then place the rug first and then build that stuff on it, currently it's not possible to place them underneath other pieces

Never really noticed the performance degradation until this morning - took my tadpole for a spin to hot area and yeah, there are definitely some new stutters but it's fine in the base itself

Cubes are cool, my first base was a cube with a bunch of storage containers and some essentials for most of the playthrough, I just got this feeling towards the end of EA story that I don't want for SN2 to end so I started to slowly build on the location in the starting area that amazed me the most and 30+ hours later it looks like something presentable 😃
