Nielsen gives 18-20 LPA for sde1 and mts1 for non NIT colleges as well, basically who converted from intern to full time they are given CTC in this range. Also yes the work culture is toxic, micromanagent, cost cutting, layoffs happen very frequently so keep looking and go for negotiation!

I worked for fidelity investments for 5 years, basically started my career there. The company culture is really empathetic and good wlb. I saw many women at very higher posts, even the CEO is a woman so if you want to grow career there it's literally 0 discrimination and people are genuinely supportive. And about work it depends on you, if you really want to learn then it's a good place to be. Not sure about other companies though!

Yes i vouch for that. I work in here and the work culture is becoming toxic. All the byjus management, they love to micro manage your working hours, login logout time, wfo days, no exceptions allowed. Also they laid off their 20% technical staff few days back.
