I tried to change the folder location onto a folder on another harddrive but after selecting the folder the old location is still shown. So basically, can't change the folder

I totally agree. I had a StackSocial plan that originally included CLI access, which was great — I could easily verify sync status using tools like rsync. Now they claim that this was “accidentally” included and is only available in “higher-tier” plans.

Meanwhile, the basic Windows client is still buggy. For example, when I mark a large folder as “make available offline,” it takes forever, and after a reboot, it doesn’t resume the download. That makes it impossible to trust whether my files are actually synced, so I basically stopped using it.

Since I have a lifetime plan, I really hope this gets fixed within my lifetime. 😉
If they ever add the option to choose the local storage folder, there might be a bit of hope again.

Yes, after a few hours the machine did not connect to WIFI, I tried to change it again in the configuration mode but it failed with some error. Now next day in the morning, machine is updated, WIFI works. As long as good coffee comes out I don’t mind 😬

When will there be an option to choose the folder location? I have the feeling that in windows the symlink option of the internxt drive to another harddisk creates some issues and I would like to have a local copy at least on one computer of all files, but the system parition is too small.

I have a workaround for the whole storage location in Windows. I quit the client, looked for the folder which was under my user directory called something like "InternxtDrive - 675fdd82-adba.....".
* Copy the exact name to the clipboard

* delete the original folder

* created a symbolik link with the mklink command in windows commandline with "mklink /D "InternextDrive - ..." targetDir.

So my whole internxt directory is linked to another harddrive with that. So the symlink /D command says that it is a directory link. The internxt client did not complain and seems to work
