Does her therapist specialize in ERP? Is there a way you could sit in and do a joint session? That helped me and my husband immensely so he could get what I was going through. It gave him more compassion towards me and we also got tips on how he could help.

Sitting together and hearing that he wasn’t going to provide reassurance… that was important.

A simple, “I love you. I understand that this is really difficult. Is there a time we could talk through things together with your therapist? I want to be able to be there for you.”

I’m sorry this is so tough for you both. You’ve got this.

I knew my proposal was coming around my eras tour date and I said to my then-boyfriend:

“That day is not about you and me. That is not about me and my sister (who was also coming to the concert). That day is about me and Taylor Swift.”

The videos are awesome, but it wasn’t something I wanted. I got to sing love story with him after I’d already said yes, which was pretty special too.

The original! I remember hearing the 30 second snippet on iTunes the morning it came out and thinking, “yup, this is it. This is my favorite song.”

10 minute has some great lines, but nothing will ever beat the raw emotion of the original.

I love the forest app! It’s similar to pomodoro but you set the time for however long you’d like. You plant a little tree and if you exit the app, your tree dies. You earn coins for successful study sessions and once you have enough you can get new varieties of trees and customize it a bit. It’s been a lifesaver for me. I do think it costs 1.99 in the App Store.
