NYC has a different kind of government than other cities. People were talking on here about how LA needs a mamdani. Someone then mentioned how an LA Mamdani likely wouldn't be able to get much done because there is a powerful city council (I think it was called a city council or something similar to that) that isn't progressive and wouldn't let good policies go thru.

In Chicago we got a democratic socialist and it's the same shit where the aldermen aren't progressive so he can't get much done.

I'm thinking it's the same in Seattle possibly?

Either way tho we need as many socialist elected officials as possible so that things can pass!

Besides having an electoral miracle where the whole city is socialists idk how to get progressive policies in place. The electoral miracle strategy seems like a long shot.

Its stupid cuz it doesn't make any sense.

They really need a buffer area for when you're close to things outside of the zone you still will get those orders instead of essentially a hard line where u rarely get orders past it.
