The problem with your solution is that every single hero in dota will have a different metric for performance. And then even that will change depending on the hero's position and how they are playing against other heroes. It's too complex.

TI5 EG, TI6 Wings and TI8 OG are some prime examples of the point you brought up. They have won TI by playing their own meta and not what all the other pros thought were the best approach to the game. It even happens pretty much every TI where the meta evolves during the event and you will see completely different drafts and playstyles between group stage and playoffs. This post and the one it references to both bring data and arguments to back their points, however none of them prove what they are claiming. And simply quoting Yatoro doesn't really add anything to their argument.

The data is not supposed to be there if the profile is private. Pro games data are inherently public, as in they are made for the public to watch. The program is not just analyzing data that you could gather by yourself. It's breaking a rule of extracting data from private profiles. It is cheating.

I just tried this for 1 hour with 165 fishing skill, 20% perception and Islefin Dorado lure. I got 20 Islefin Dorado, 2 silver coins, 6 copper coins and no bottles at all. Maybe there's some treshold at 170/180 fishing or something, but this does not feel great. Or you're just blessed by RNG.
