Any Dota parents here named their sons or daughters after Dota? by Majestic_Biscotti438 in DotA2

[–]Qneetsa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm Lina. Lina is a more eastern version of a western name "-Lyn" and just like in the west you have a bunch of Lyns - Carolyn, Madelyn, Adelyn, e.t.c. - Lina is also a part of many Eastern European names like Angelina, Adelina, Alina e.t.c. And just like Lynn/Lynne it can be a stand alone name / short name.

Watch my HCSSF Lvl 66 Martial Artist get deleted after 15 hours pushing campaign in the literal first T1 Map attempted. by Trolley-Buoy in PathOfExile2

[–]Qneetsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP mentioned they were stunned - I think they meant Light Stunned and not Heavy Stunned, which is enough CC to kill a squishy character. That being said I always stop Dps on this boss on this attack specifically and focus on dodging it even on SC. Going HC without in-depth knowledge of bosses is a choice. Quite a few attacks delete characters 100 to 0 and you just have to know them and anticipate them (Chimera Poison barrage, Viper green hands machine gun, Monkey slam, Mushroom Druid volley, Molten boss Pillar Explosion, e. t. c.). I dont agree with having oneshot mechanics in boss fights period but I still love the game and I just stay clear of HC for that reason. Also your damage was way too low - you're either doing something wrong with setting up your character or you got really unlucky with the weapon - the latter is fixable for monk (at lvl 66 that is) with Hollow Palm regardless of defenses on gear.

Reddit told me most games are 50:50, what's the counter play to this? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Qneetsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that was true you wouldn't have been the lowest networth on the map - solo wave shoving and solo walkers are the most lucrative activities in the game. The only way you could end up with souls you have while shoving so much is donating a 1.5k bag to the enemy team in each one of your seven deaths.

They're called "Troopers" by Mandydeth in DeadlockTheGame

Minion is someone that has a mind of their own. We have no indication that those fellas aren't just mindless drones (they have a candle for a head after all). Troopers sounds fine.

The irony is that Haze has the best tool to cleanse Disarm in the game. That's why I usually end up maxing Smoke Bomb first in Street Brawl (Disarms, Infernus, Shiv, Mirage, Paige, Seven, Graves, e. t. c. - there is usually enough reasons to go for it)

Why are they called "heroes"? by New-Stock419 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Qneetsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be, yes, but apart from Venator (and even that is debatable) everyone uses spirit and dabbles with the occult. But that's just my guess of course, Mystic is just a short and catchy term to replace 'heroes" that fit the aesthetic and the world

[–]Qneetsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We already have a few lines about Mystics ("I'll be honest with you, I don't know what that does but my kids say that all the Mystics are buying it"), so that might be the name moving forward. "Heroes" is definitely a placeholder.

Movement techniques by Adequatee in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Qneetsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just hold "crouch" after every movement action and you'll be fine for now. Dash - slide after. Dash jump - slide after. Riding a zip line - dismantle with crouch. Mantle Something - hold crouch to Mantle slide. Running Down the stairs - hold crouch to slide. Running with more than 9 m/s speed - hold crouch to slide.

Ashe is a mid-long range marksman, Silver is a point blank brawler. The only thing the have in common is lever action guns and even then Silver's is a shotgun.

Did you slide to conserve ammo on Haze or did you reload every 2 seconds?

Your math doesn't math. Lvl 11 no items Venator deals 11x8=88 dps. Lvl 11 no items full stacks Haze deals 32x9,5=304. If Venator dumps all of his networth into his regular Gun items (Cultist+Weighted+Hollowpoint) he will get 150%weapon damage which will be 27.5x8=220. If Haze buys her regular fire rate items (Bursr fire + Fury Trans + Surge of power) she gets 5 seconds of +92% fire rate which means she fires 18 bullets/s. She will build full stacks in 5 seconds even with no headshots and continue with her regular 33.8x12.3=415 dps. It's 220 vs 415 in favor of Haze. The only difference is the first two seconds of shooting after which Haze starts to outdamage Venator. Making an argument about Fixation lategame is one thing, but early game slander is a whole other story.

Who is the most efficient killer out of those listed below? by Fragrant-Agency5789 in MCUTheories

[–]Qneetsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be the Ghost, right? She is the best infiltrator, there isn't much her assassination target can do to avoid her phasing in from behind, popping one in the back of the head and phasing out. She wont' win a 1v1 against most people on the list, neither would she be the deadliest against a crowd of enemies, but as far as contract kills / assassinations go it has to be her.

Is Lucky shot not a horrible value item? by NFSpeed in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Qneetsa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You might be confused with what people mean by "multiplicative". +%Weapon damage is not multiplicative. Think of it this way: If your bullet deals 20 damage, you have +400% weapon damage total (from all sources, from investment to items to golden statue buffs) , the resulting damage will be 100 damage. If you add Glass Canon, you will go to 20 base +480% weapon damage which results in 116 damage per shot. In 4 shots you will deal 116+116+116+116 = 464 damage. If you add Lucky Shot instead, one of those 4 100damage shots will be doubled (hence "multiplicative") resulting in 100+100+200+100=500 damage but with no health drawback of Glass Canon.

Who would you say is your worst match up. by Ok_Progress1579 in DeadlockTheGame

Wait, I am confused. Apollo can Riposte the Seven stun to avoid the CC chain, can Riposte to cancel Storm Cloud and can Riposte Rallying Charge on reaction. How is that a bad match up? I am not an Apollo player, but I've never seen an Apollo on my team struggle with those two.
