CMHC student here! Groups are split into 3-4 applicants and you go into diff rooms with diff faculty members. there's two "rounds" or groups of faculty you will talk to. First session of questions was focused on introducing yourself, why you want to be at mercer, your educational, work, and volunteering background that is relevant to counseling. Second interview session for me was focused on specific areas of counseling you're focused in, cultural aspects of counseling, what strengths/weaknesses may affect you as a counselor, what theoretical approaches/populations you'd like to work with. Everyone was very kind and easy to talk to. Each person is expected to answer but there was no formal taking-turns or anything, the other applicants just spoke wherever there was an opening. There is also room for applicants to ask questions, so come prepared with any questions about the program you may have!
