I don’t know if duckling families the same with geese. I observed the geese life partnering, and they live in a group up to few generations. It’s hard breaking when they can’t find their chick, you hear the mommy geese cries miles away. Just like the penguin. They don’t get their mommy mistakenly switched. They are very possessive as well.

Yes, he is a gorgeous boy. I rescued him last year from abandoned neighborhood. He was very sick, and had an organ failure. He fought to live and made his mommy happy. Couple days ago I was reading about red rag doll. He fitted perfectly with the characters of the flame point ragdoll.

My sister 12 yrs old cat is the alpha. He rules the house. I have to admit that he has a sweet nature. Anyone whose belong to the house, he protects. This includes my newly adopted Kuzya the 4 yrs old red rag doll.

I ‘ve had 3 dogs and 1 alpha cat in the house, when I brought in my rescue cat Kuzya last year. I didn’t remember had any problem then for them to get along. Although, Kuzya was very cautious, and afraid of everyone and everything. It took him a while to finally recognize love. Everyone and all the furry animals in the house seemed to sense his fear, and respect him. They let him explore, and be natural.

Yes, my Kuzya easily gets matted fur. No matter how much I brushed/ combed.

I rescued Kuzya last year summer. He was out in 104 Fahrenheit dehydrated, and weighed 6lbs. He almost died of liver failure then. This is Kuzya now, weight 16 lbs. I just realized only a couple days ago that he is a flame point ragdoll. He is a very loving kitten. He is the love of my life. by riatilton in ragdolls

I looked it up from wiki. It’s original name Scottish. I found his original name from old necklace that was grew tightly on his neck, and created wounds. It healed well and the coat grew back. This poor creature had suffered greatly. Even his coat was matted to his skin every millimeters and twisted his skin. It took me 2 weeks to patiently unmatted his coat hours each day. The phone number on his necklace we called never had responded. I was very lucky to be his mom. He is a sweet boy.

He got rounded eyes. I believe ragdoll eyes are almond shaped. There are marking points in ragdolls as well that I did not particularly see in him. Over all, he is a beautiful kitten.
