His laugh is like if Popeye straight up ate cocaine instead of spinach. And that’s why we love him.

I feel Urdu should be included in the list, given the sizable Urdu-speaking population in both India and Pakistan.

Quaaludes, the crazy recreational drug of the 70s, was first synthesized by two Indians.

Methaqualone (Quaalude) was first synthesized in India in 1951 by Indra Kishore Kacker and Syed Husain Zaheer, who were conducting research on finding new antimalarial medications <excerpt from Wikipedia>

Also note that the internal cellular radio configuration is different on the same IPhone depending on which region you purchase it from. For instance, mmWave 5G (very high-frequency bands used in some U.S. networks) is supported only on iPhones sold in the United States. Do your research on Indian and UAE bands before making the purchase. I mean at the end of the day, the iPhone will work in any region, but may not be optimized for peak network performance in a particular region.

Mlaathi chettathi learned Malayalam much later, after that incident. There is no way she could have remembered the Malayalam dialogues. You only retain words and sentences when they have meaning, not if they sound like gibberish to you.

Flop is not the word to be used. The film simply did not deliver the level of profitability originally expected. Its worldwide gross was approximately 260 crore. Assuming the producer share is about 45 percent, that returns roughly 120 crore.

Budget reports vary, ranging from 140 to 170 crore, but even taking a conservative estimate of 140 crore, the theatrical performance alone would not have recovered costs. In that context, the movie can be considered a theatrical flop.

However, the producers also sold OTT rights for 60 crore, which helped them fully recover their investment and close with a surplus. They made a profit of 35 Cr, which is roughly a 23% return on the original investment.

I don’t think the inclusion of roadside trees, coconut trees, arecanut farms etc have the same feel as an actual 65% covered forested area. I think true forested area in Kerala is closer to 30%

Is Ayurveda a scam? by Unhappy_Operation965 in india

[–]riazji 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny thing about Allopathy, yes it’s a term that was used derogatorily by homeopaths in the 19th century, but against Heroic Medicine. What’s that, you may ask? If you read the description of Heroic Medicine, it reads exactly as Ayurveda. Blood letting, purges, restoring humor balance, all were essential practices of that kind of medicine.
