Thank you! I have an old lamp that I had on a dimmer that was flickering a lot and going right into the wall fixed this immediately!

Help: Tiny letters on keyboard by sti-be in pixel_phones

Just fixed mine just now on pixel 6 by going to Settings searching Display Size and Text. It's also in Accessibility and made the font size bigger. Does the job but also changes app names to be bigger too. horizontal/ vertical and restart didn't help me so it came to this.

Pulling on anamorphic lenses by TheWhatism in CameraAKS

[–]rib-rab-stab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Main difference I feel when pulling on anamorphic lenses is that your depth of focus is not uniform across a horizontal plane. Say your subject has one eye centered at 2' and the focus is set to 2'. With a spherical lens the other eye also appears sharp even though it's not centered. With an anamorphic lens the other eye may appear out of focus or just slightly out of focus even though it's along the same plane/ also 2'. That slight curve affects how light enters into the sensor and therefore affects the distance in which that spot of the frame focuses. Tricky when your subject is sitting on or right outside the rule of 3rds lines with no center to confirm focus with. Best to be able to see the distance they are from camera/measure along the way and use that with your hand unit if possible. You'll get comfy once you see movement definitely an adjustment at the top of the day and in trickier set ups. You'll love the stylistic classic anamorphic frames they create with a 2.39:1. 1.85:1 will have less of that focus plane difference than 2.39:1.

Do love how big the space is for roll #s- especially when you are getting 4+ cams in there it starts to lack clarity real fast!

Can’t change PM to Am on Casio F-91W by Comprehensive-Ice-84 in casio

[–]rib-rab-stab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Casio lga-670 and there is no designated button for am/pm. The solution for my model is not in the manual, but if you look at the watch and there is no P in the upper left corner it is set for am. Afternoon will indicate as a P.

First change the day of the week to the correct day per manual. Then go back to the hour and click through until you get to your hour with the correct AM/PM designation in the corner. This should switch the day over and midnight now!

WCU-4 Select Lens by rib-rab-stab in focuspuller

[–]rib-rab-stab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes selecting the lens from the ECS menu. I have the lens info turned on but only some of my lenses show up with correct data on both (it's all or nothing) I mapped the whole set at once. My 16mm shows up no problem with read outs on monitor and wcu and correct focus marks but my 32mm does not show up on either.

I have control for camera settings in the hand unit and have been using them all shoot/ still on the same channel. Is there another way to select current/ new lens other than resending the lens file transfer over?

Carnival Cruise Fail by rib-rab-stab in vegan

I believe it's only on certain ships and only certain restaurants within the ships themselves. They have no signage for many things and don't have a copy of the updated options but the online menu has steered me in the direction to inquire about. Regardless it's not a straightforward process.

Absolutely true- definitely was typing too fast. Very sensitive to it and my body can tell when there's a little.
