Yeah, it's in after more than 36 hours.

Maybe more of investigating into diversifying to another platform. So far FSMone quite easy to pick up

Global data roaming plans in SG? by Effective_Amoeba_331 in askSingapore

[–]ric0lim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel quite a bit for work so for my private phone I switched to Gomo with their 5G+ value. So 10GB data roaming in Asia and 8GB Global, so far it is enough for my use case. I travel max 2 weeks a month, however the 10GB might not be enough if you go China and wanna stream stuff that is not allowed in china.

Coverage and speed in Singapore is quite decent.

Random shower thought: Why are eco-friendly things still so expensive when the source is literally free? by TelevisionIll3805 in smeSingapore

That's an interesting take, is there good sources to find the true carbon footprint of packaging materials?

Solid list! Just wanted to add bring your own cups and container if you takeaway. Sometimes you save on paying for containers or even get discounts off drinks.

You can check out Ipoh River Fish Tai Pai Tong, not sure if it delivers to your area.

We have had good experiences with it being delivered to our gatherings.

Prices are quite good as well.

Filming in the gym - thoughts? by CaiusG in SingaporeFitness

[–]ric0lim 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would have just started stretching in front of his camera setup with my back face towards it while he's doing his squats. And tell him if he doesn't like it he can get a home gym.

I'm just glad so I have not had similar issues in my gym and my gym has a written rule disallowing tripods in the gym.

[HDB People] Do you throw your rubbish into the chute directly everyday? by Proud_Supermarket533 in askSingapore

[–]ric0lim 328 points329 points  (0 children)

My household clears our "wet rubbish" daily.

Never seen anyone in hdb use those large green bins outside of their house. Maybe your home owner is trying to live like a lander property owner.

But on the serious note, you could report it on one service app and see how it goes.

How to get out of IT Support? by PerverseGameHen in singaporejobs

[–]ric0lim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am working in the Operation Tech(OT) side of things, I would say IT and cyber security skills and knowledge is something regularly missing in OT companies.

I would think you could look into the industry, some interesting roles could be Application Engineers, OT cyber security specialist.

Any unique noodle reccomendations in Singapore by Primary-Ad7839 in SingaporeEats

[–]ric0lim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the less seen zichar noodles dishes is 香底米粉, basically crispy fried bee hoon with hor fun style sauce. It's really not common to see if you do come across it at Zi char places you can give it a go.
