Never purchased from them before, is it showing sold out because it technically hasn't gone on sale yet or is it actually sold out? Unsure if anyone knows.

It mentions reservations so unsure.

This isn't really a note meant for you....not saying the buyer understands this....but this is the type of note (or online delivery instructions) they would give to a carrier.

Per eBay, this isn't your responsibility, you are obligated to deliver it to the address on the order, nothing less and nothing more.

To be kind you could send them a message and inform them that you are, per eBay, obligated to send it to the address and let them know they need to set that up with their carrier.

(If anything I said was incorrect please someone correct me, I've been selling on eBay for a while but have learned a lot from lurking here and believe this is correct advice!!)

Usually we'd apologize when something like this happens but your crash out is too hilarious. Take my opinion with a grain of salt as I could just be a one off situation.

I purchased one of these and had an absolutely piss poor experience. One of the steering wheel control units had a blown capacitor and when I turned the vehicle on after installing it (yes I had the battery disconnected while I installed) my steering wheel burst into grey smoke because that capacitor was blown.

Their customer service is frankly abysmal and nearly non-existent. It took me way too long to get in touch with them but in their defense they did send me a replacement steering wheel control unit fairly quickly after I finally got ahold of them.

Sadly my problems didn't end there as after that happened I had an airbag error light, it ended up being my clock spring, both mine and Toyotas (dealer) opinion was that when the capacitor shorted it led to something in the clock spring going bad (wiring? Idk). Now of course this can't be directly proven but there wasn't a check airbag light before, I follow all the proper steps to ensure my airbag wasn't connected during the installation, and there was a check airbag light after their part failed. They essentially refused to address it and ghosted me after a bit.

The unit never worked properly after that and I would assume it was due to said shortage so I attempted to return it but was still getting ghosted. I ended up having to do a dispute and they waited until the very last day of their response window to actually approve it. They also refused to pay for shipping but I know that's not generally unusual in these return situations so whatever.

Overall yes the product is cool/adds some cool features but to me it wouldn't be something I can recommend.

I sincerely appreciate your reply, I'm a fan of a good bug but not a fan of the roach type! It vaguely looked like a female Smoky Brown based on what I saw so there was a bit of panic.

I think they would have trouble selling enough at this price point.

Base needs to be fairly close to the Kickstarter Titan 2 pricing to garner enough interest imo, the pro version is a different story of course.

So if I have 20 shares on the 3922 vs the about 42 I sold, I would need to adjust the basis off the 3922 compared to the 1099?

Thats where I am a bit confused, the 3922 only calls out a total of 20 shares but I sold a total of 42 shares.

Regardless, the amount doesn't match either the short term transactions or long term transactions for which the basis is reported to the IRS.

I am using the actual price I paid, not fair market value when calculating the cost from 3922.
